Trespasser thoughts while waiting on my mother's MRI.
First off, I still don’t understand why Solas didn’t get Mythal to help him with the Orb. I mean, surely he could have found her. It’s not like she was hard to find, for him anyway. Then again, if he was as weak as he says, perhaps he knew that if Mythal learned of his plans she would stop him and she’d be able to. That’s assuming Mythal wouldn’t help him.
Another thing, what he’s planning? What he’s doing? It’s wrong, so very, very wrong.
I feel for him, I truly do and I think I understand him a little bit better, but in no way shape or form can I ever support him.
He wants to commit genocide to save “his people”. The same people he told my Lavellan were NOT his people. Suddenly he’s decided that the Dalish, the same ones he complained about and almost outright hated, are in need of him and that he’s going to help them reclaim the old days by destroying everything.
He’s going to tear down the Veil.
The time of the elves is over and he did that. He ended their reign. And now, what? He wants to restore it because he feels bad? Because he made a mistake?
He keeps saying that he doesn’t want to kill everyone and destroy the world, but then in the same breath he says it’s needed, but refuses to say why.
I just… maybe I need to replay Trespasser, but… I don’t know.
*sighs*
Maker’s breath, Solas.
