💖💖💖💖💖💖💖 Hmu with them Solas headcanons, babeyyyy
Aaahhhh! 7 of them xD let’s do some romance and some cute ones too. And some angst because who doesn’t like to suffer. I had fun writing these!
💖Solas and Veowyn spend an entire weekend searching for a tea that Solas actually enjoyed so they could stock it at Skyhold. They finally found one (1) that was, as he put, “Actually tolerable .” Turns out it was a royal blend from Val Royeaux with a recipe that dated back to the first blight. It also happened to be the most expensive tea the shop sold. Needless to say the Inquisitor made sure Josephine added “Solas’ Tea” to the Inquisitions required requisitions.
💖Veowyn loves massaging Solas’ feet. The first time she actually looked at them, she was shocked to note that they were actually soft, as her own were calloused from running barefoot as a child. She suspects magic but he never says anything about it, merely smiling and enjoying the free massage.
💖When traveling together, Veowyn makes sure to set up her tent next to his. He goes to bed fairly early if not on first watch, and it makes it easier for her to sneak little notes in his tent for him to discover in the morning. Everyone sees her doing this, but no one says a word. They know better.
💖After Solas removed her Vallaslin, and after the big breakup, Veowyn would actually draw it back on before she left her quarters in the morning. She did this for weeks, trying to pretend nothing happened. It wasn’t the symbolism she missed, but a desperate attempt to pretend that what happened hadn’t. Every time she saw her bare face it only made her miss him. She finally stopped after a conversation with Cole; “Fake? Drawn on, terrible sadness, clinging. You’re still beautiful.” He proceeded to approach her, wetting a cloth and wiping the makeup off of her face. They had a conversation and he helped sooth her, at least a little.
💖Solas left for a week to the Dales to find a specific flower for his paints. Veowyn was apprehensive at first on letting not only her lover but a trusted member of her Inner Circle leave on his own, but he managed to convince her. The color was the loveliest shade of red she had ever seen, and he commented that it was the only flower that even came close to matching her own rouge. (Which also heavily implied that he’s drawn her enough to require more red paint)
💖Solas and Veowyn actually train as mages together. Being sent by her clan to the Conclave, she wasn’t able to learn all that she wished, and with Solas’ knowledge of practically everything, she asked him to train her further. She gets him flustered by calling him “Master” while they train 😉.
💖Solas is the only one that has seen Veowyn with her hair completely down. It goes down to just above her butt, but she always has it up in some form or another. Braided, ponytail, twisted. She even sleeps with it up. It was a complete accident (though fortunate, she says). He’s only seen it down when they’ve met in the Fade, and it was only because his will was stronger than hers.
