“...Well, that’s not what I expected at all...Especially with the rumors going around...” Congratulations, they’d officially managed to confuse the Black Widow.

Soldier and Widow
Finding out that HYDRA used her DNA to make Soldier and Widow is going to be very upsetting for Jane, and leave her feeling very conflicted about the twins.
She thinks Widow will never live up to her code name. The girl doesn’t stand a chance of surpassing Natasha Romanoff.
She finds the twins frustrating to deal with, because she doesn’t know how to get them out from under HYDRA’s thumb. They’ve been too thoroughly brainwashed. But at the same time, she’s not willing to leave them in HYDRA’s hands. They need help, but she feels like she’s not capable of giving it to them.
She feels kind of guilty about injuring Widow, but at the same time, she’s not going to sit back and let them capture or kill her.
Dyns
When Jane finds out that Dyns’ father has been abusing him, that bastard is going to wish he’d never been born. She’ll never sit by while someone treats a child that way.
She will make sure Dyns always has a pen and paper available, because she wants him to be able to communicate in all circumstances.
When she gets back on her feet and finds a place for them to live, that boy is getting three hot meals a day. Pancakes for breakfast whenever he wants them.
If she can’t find a safe place for him to go, then she’s keeping him with her for as long as he needs.

We definitely need to do a thread where Bucky learns that HYDRA took her DNA to make these murder babies.
Soldier and Widow don’t catch up to Bucky until after she’s officially working for SHIELD, so she brings them in and SHIELD tries to deprogram them.
Soldier and Widow succeed in their mission and drag her back to HYDRA, maybe?
If we wanna get really angsty, how about a thread where one twin gets killed and the other goes rogue?
AU where instead of the twins finding Jane, Jane finds them.

The jacket seemed big. Maybe broad in the shoulders. Sort of like when he gives it to his sister. But it should be warm. He always picked warm coats. The warmest he can get. Just in case. Better to be hot then get hypothermia. He opened his mouth to respond. Then thought better of it. Francis wasn’t like him. Francis liked to talk. Francis could have emotions and opinions and friends. Solider wanted those things. But he wasn’t sure he could have them anymore.
After a moment, he pointed. “The target went that way. They heard you hit the water.” Soldier should have followed. Instead he’d stayed back to make certain Francis was ok.
If it hadn’t been embarrassing to do so, Francis would’ve wrapped the jacket tight around him, burrowed into it. He hated being cold and the warmth of the jacket seeped into his skin and it was lovely, but this was a mission and he was partnered up with someone who already saw him as a useless jerk (or so he thought) and didn’t want to add to it.
Hiding the internal wince as Soldier reminded him of his accident, the teen nodded and picked up his bow and quiver. “Let’s go then.” He had already delayed them enough.

No. No he really doesn’t. Barnes. The Winter Soldier. That’s his idol. The thing he trains every day to be as good as. To someday surpass. It’s his name sake. The boy shakes his head. He really doesn’t. And he’s not under orders to. Just the same, the rifle doesn’t lower.
<“Why are you here? Did Captain America send you?”>
Was it really possible that it was a coincidence? That Widow could be on a mission that Soldier couldn’t follow on at the same time the actual real living Winter Soldier happened to be in the area? Was it even possible for Soldier to be that lucky?
" ты думаешь я работаю только на него?"* He says it like cmon, really? his lips quirking slightly, allowing a sneaky glint to shine in his eyes.
Oh, Steve knows Bucky's here, of course. It's not a secret within the inner circle of the people he works with that Bucky's been tracking these child soldiers for some time with Natasha. But what he just said isn't exactly a lie, since Steve isn't in charge of this mission. And if the young man misinterprets his meaning, Bucky isn't going to correct him for now.
"Опусти оружие, солдат; я просто хочу поговорить,"** he says, barely stomaching calling a child ‘soldier’. "как вас зовут?"*** The kid may well not have one, but Bucky has to ask.
- - - - - *“You think I only work for him?” **“Lower your weapon, soldier; I just wish to speak.” **“What is your name?”

It had been exactly three months since the spectacular collapse of Project Insight -- three months since the former Winter Soldier had escaped from HYDRA and then vanished like the ghost she’d so often been compared to. Her memories were coming back, and she had a name now: Jane.
Not Bucky. She wasn’t ready to call herself that, not yet.
She knew Steve was looking for her, but despite pulling him from the river, she wasn’t ready to see him. She was afraid of what he might want from her. She was afraid that she might not be able to give it. So she’d kept herself busy in other ways -- mainly by tracking down the people who had been involved in the Winter Soldier Project. There were only two things she wanted from them. She wanted to know what exactly HYDRA had done to her, and she wanted to see everyone who had ever laid a hand on her dead.
Now she was starting to target other bases and other HYDRA agents. She didn’t know what else to do; she’d spent so long as an assassin in HYDRA’s clutches that she couldn’t remember how to be anything else. But at least now she could choose her own targets. At least now she could pursue the people who had hurt her, people who actually deserved to die.
HYDRA was pursuing her in turn, a fact that Jane was well aware of. They weren’t alone. The CIA, MI6, the GRU, Interpol, and what was left of SHIELD were all looking for the Winter Soldier, along with a laundry list of other intelligence and security organizations.
So far, she’d managed to avoid capture. But someone was following her, someone well trained. She hadn’t been able to catch a glimpse of her pursuer, but she could feel it, could feel the warning in her gut and the prickle on the back of her neck. So she’d set a trap, here in the ruins of the most recent HYDRA base that she had destroyed.
She only hoped it would work.
❛❛ I didn’t mean to get blood on the floor… ❜❜ the boys accent is thick over the English words. He was bleeding. But he'd be fine. He was always fine. There was no other choice for a thing like him. (Soldier from Soldierandwidow)
random ask || @soldierandwidow
Nathanael know who the boy is. They’ve been on missions together, but they had never really spoken to each other. Now he was at Nat’s door, bleeding and looking like he might pass out soon. He’d ushered him in quickly. “Don’ worry about that. Sit down.” He pulled out a chair and tugged at the boy before looking at a good place for skin contact so he could heal him. “You’ll be okay in no time.”
