For the first time since she had come home, Mia was out of the master bedroom. She was walking her new puppy about outside, very close to the manner but far enough that it was on grass. The little creature had made her happier and distracted for a while. She held a ball in her hand flaunting it in front of the pup before softly throwing it for her dog to chase. Happily it did so before returning back to Mia and collapsing in her lap. Now, being outside Mia knew that she could run into other members of the coven but she didn't freak about it. The blonde was currently denying the fact that anything had happened to her. As far as she was concerned everything was okay.

Hearing someone approaching, Mia lifted the small creature into her hands and held it close, leaning against the wall of the mansion.

Mia sat in the corner of her room, the door shut and locked, but only with a human lock. She wasn't crying, though she wanted to. She had just disowned the girl who was supposed to be her sister. How was she to tell her mother? Or keep living in the same house? All of it had uprooted from Emily's accident. The one that Mia was being blamed for. As a newborn, she had been watched and trained by Lydia herself. That is what allowed her to never make such a monumental mistake. And the fact that she was locked in the cellar for a good portion of her first year.

Now the petite girl was facing a problem bigger than herself. While she wasn't Emilys creator, she had been responsible for the brunette while her parents were out. Mia had spent much of her life running from the Volturi. Now, if they were caught with the newborn who had gone rapid one day, she would surely be killed. "God Damn it!" She screamed slamming her foot into the wall hard enough to break though it. Her hands were entangled through her locks, trying to keep from running out and burning herself in the sun. Hearing the door swing open she snapped her attention over to whoever it was.
