My partner had to chase Sonyaaa all over the house to give her her BP meds. Solensia is doing wonders for her arthritis, she hasn't been so squirmy and full of backflips since she was like 10.

WARNING:
Sorry for the bold letters. I don't know if this old news. But I've just been to the vets. Where I talked to a lovely vet about Solensia. Which has been causing rapidly worsening osteoarthritis in dogs. Some symptoms to be aware of is fur lose and blistering around the injection sight. As well as inability to walk or put weight on their limbs.
I have a cat on Solensia. And this rapid degeneration has not be found in cats. But there's no way of telling if it could happen. So be aware.
My 16-year-old cat is on this arthritis medication called Solensia. It’s an injection that he has to get once a month, and it’s almost like a miracle. I had been noticing some signs of arthritis, specifically in the way he walks up stairs, so I brought it up to my vet and she suggested that my cat tries it. I didn’t notice much of a difference after the first shot, but then after the 2nd shot and all of the subsequent ones, there’s such a huge difference. While he does still limp when he walks up the stairs, he can jump up on the couches and bed with no problem. He had started to dig his nails in when he jumped onto furniture because he was having trouble jumping high enough. He chases the laser and light reflections again like he used to, and he gets the zoomies at night. Today I heard him playing with one of his toys, and sort of playing catch with himself where he flings it in the air and then runs after it. He sounded like a horse galloping up and down the hallway. It’s so wonderful to see (and hear) him acting like this again. The arthritis had developed slowly over time and I hadn’t realized the things he had stopped doing so much until he’s able to do them again now. 🥹
