So, so, so proud of my crew after our first race of the season this weekend. Went for power over speed and it seriously payed off, bagging ourselves a decent 3rd place finish and a pretty impressive time, beating at least 6 8′s. Feeling the effects of the weekend now thought because I am pooped!!
The end result of our first one day project back at uni.
Life Drawing Workshop -
These are the results of our second session, this time with a male model.
Life Drawing Workshop -
Above are some of my ink portraits. We had 5 to 10 minutes for each pose so we focused mainly on shadow and highlight.
Lonely Hearts: For this project we had to create two couples, both on blind dates from dating sites. Each person has a secret which we had to subtly include in the illustration. Out of the secrets we were given I chose ‘secret egotist’ and ‘secret alcoholic’ for my first and ‘fake age’ and ‘secret family’ for the second.
Outcomes of my print workshop a few weeks ago. Lino print and letter press experiments. I prefer the print with the placement of the C to the right of the cat.
Cyanotype and Argyrotype Workshop: Using my existing work I was able to create acetate copies which were then exposed onto paper. The images on the blue paper are the cyanotypes and the brown paper is the argyrotype. They were manually exposed in a specialist machine and finished and set with chemicals.
