is this love?
Hc that seheron is a gender neutral language and that Lu talks to her parents almost exclusively in seheron.
So when clan lavellan comes to skyhold, Lu’s parents think that the mage with no hair that has stolen her heart is Vivienne
When your gf has the cutest smile...
Thedas meet cute :)
#9 and #11 then #2 for the Solas specific one, puhhhlease. Lu and Solas, obv. =D
Dragon Age: Inquisitor + Romanced Companions Asks
9. How did your Inquisitor react to the gossip about their relationship, if there was any?
It was mostly just the orlesian nobles being nosy. She didn’t really pay attention to the rumors and couldn’t give a rat’s ass what they thought. Both she and Solas know what’s real and that’s all that matters.
11. Would your Inquisitor and their partner ever consider having children? Why or why not?
Yes, without a doubt. At least for Lu. She’s always known she’d want kids (though if her partner doesn’t want them that’s ok with her too). Unfortunately she and Solas didn’t last long enough for them to have a proper talk about it. There were probably hints and stuff in passing though.
2. Does your Inquisitor regret anything about their relationship with Solas? What do they wish they could tell him?
Not really. She appreciates what she had with him and it was a good run. Before Trespasser, she did regret not telling him she loved him (she was going to say it when they went to Crestwood but Solas broke up with her before she had the chance). Now it’s a little bit of a relief because she’d have felt stupid for confessing if he was about to break up with her. It does sometimes cross her mind if things could’ve gone differently if she had confessed earlier, but that’s all in the past now and she’s moved on.
Saw this going around and I thought it looked fun!
Tagging @lelibela @asurana @rhunae @lakambaeni @kxnways @situationnormal and anyone else who wants to do it! (no pressure though!)
Here’s the template
Solas’ knees melt whenever he sees Lu smile
@water-whisp mentioned there wasn’t enough solavellan fluff out there, so here’s my attempt. Hope it’s enough!
Luwalhati cursed under her breath. These Orlesian dances were too difficult. There were too many steps and had too many hidden meanings behind each movement. The dances in her clan were much easier to master. As long as you could follow the beat and manage not to get your feet caught between the bamboo poles, you were basically good to go. But here if you made the wrong move, you might end up insulting some Duke of Something-or-Other and start a civil war.
“Would you prefer to take a break?” Josephine asked.
“No, let’s go again. The Winter Palace Ball is coming up soon, I want to be ready.”
Josephine was about to take Luwalhati’s hand when Solas spoke up.
“Perhaps I can try?”
“Sure,” Josephine said, stepping back. Solas took Lu’s hand in his and placed his other hand on her waist. Lu lifted herself up slightly on her toes so she wouldn’t be staring at his chest. Josephine told Maryden to start playing and they began to dance.
Solas guided Lu gently, keeping eye contact with her. She suddenly realized what a bad idea it was to practice in the courtyard as the afternoon sun was hitting Solas just right. Had his eyes always been this bright purple? She could feel her face getting hot. Then she noticed that Solas’ expression had changed. It was soft, similar to how she would sometimes catch him looking at her randomly or when they were just talking alone. Before she knew it, Solas let go of her hand and started to kiss her, wrapping his arms around her waist. She closed her eyes and wrapped her arms around his neck. She was now trying to balance herself on the tips of her toes. It wasn’t until they broke apart that they remembered people could see them. Solas’ face started to turn red. The two of them usually weren’t this affectionate in public.
Josephine and Maryden glanced at each other, trying to suppress a smile. “That might be enough dance lessons for today,” said Josephine.
