An average protagonist forced to bear the previous story’s angst after previous protagonist left the story meets child forced to watch as his friends turn into dinosaurs via paleovirus, a brother and sister tear each other’s bonds apart and said brother turning into an amalgamation with three legendaries. All the while he transforms into a mindless incarnation of the Scarlet Dragon God of Destruction out of sheer despair and destroying half of Paldea in the process.
