I guess my other suggestion would be to wash it using one of those sponges that you can hold and run water through the blades to rinse it off..or to use gardening gloves to protect your hands..i don't know :/ good luck with that
Thank you ♥

solitudeandnirvana answered your post: I have a question for all of you wonde...
take the blender/juicer apart…makes it a lot easier and you will clean it more efficiently
Yeah, i always take it apart, but I still manage to stab myself trying to clean around the blades

15:Talk about the time you were most content in life.
hmmm i actually think the most content i have been in life is at this very moment. i have a fantastic internship, i’m very stable mentally, and i’m happy with the trajectory of my life at the moment. this is the most content i have been in recent memory!
35:Talk about things you wish you could stop doing.
i wish that i could stop going to bed so late. i also have a bad habit of rubbing my hands together when my hands are idle i am very fidgety. i have terrible road rage and i need to be a calmer driver. also one last thing is i have nasal issues and i often sniffle and it is quite annoying but this is something i need to talk to my doctor about haha.
36:Talk about your guilty pleasures.
hmmmm this is tough. i think my guiltiest pleasure is watching people fail after they do the exact opposite thing that i advise them to do. i feel terrible about this except when people address me in a condescending manner. this happened the most when i worked at a grocery store and dunkin donuts.
I got tagged!
I was tagged by the wonderful passionatetherapist.tumblr.com
Rules: 1) Post the rules 2) Answer the questions the person who tagged you asked 3) Write 11 new ones 4) Tag 11 new people and link them to the post 5) Actually tell them you tagged them.
My questions:
1) What is your biggest fear?
Failure. I'm so scared of failing that I sometimes give up on things I once enjoyed or don't try in the first place. It's tied into perfectionism; as a kid, most things came to me quickly and easily - reading, writing, counting, drawing, painting, sports, music… but if I tried to do something that was hard to master - like learning to ride a bicycle, I'd give up and never try again, pretending to find a sense of individualism in the NOT doing of a thing. I try not to balk at hard stuff anymore, but I DO still struggle with failure with things I am normally good at. My biggest goal in therapy has to do with my fear of failure doing my greatest talent - my art.
2) Favorite book?
Ohh, I have so many! Hands-down the best adventure, characters, plot of any fictional story I've read has been Kushiel's Dart by Jacqueline Carey. She honestly ruined me for most books after. The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss is right up there, though - also miles above any books not by either him or Carey. Awesome characters and the best dialogue I've ever read - so realistic human.
3) What kind of music do you enjoy listening to?
I listen to a wide variety, from rock, 80s pop, and electronica to world, new age, and celtic. I love Tori Amos, Neko Case, the Birthday Massacre, Hammock, Kaki King… But my very favorite is metal - specifically female-led European symphonic and/or gothic metal (e.g. Within Temptation, Nightwish, Lacuna Coil, Delain). My first metal love, though, was Metallica. :)
4) Who is your favorite fictional character (book or movie or TV)?
I think I like stories first, and then the characters within those stories are almost secondary. But perhaps the most influential characters in my life who helped me change my life when I was discovering I was gay were Xena and Gabrielle.
5) What do you like most about yourself?
My intellect, my sense of honor and respect, my insight, and my creativity.
6) What are some of your hobbies?
Traditional archery, tabletop gaming, coin collecting (especially foreign currency), guitar, backpacking, hiking, camping, sledding.
7) Have you ever been in love?
A couple times.
8) If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Scandinavia. Part of my heritage is Swedish and I have distant relatives there but I'd like to see Norway and Finland as well. I'd also like to see them for their landscapes, to see how a part of the earth at the same latitude as my home area (Alaska) differs in vegetation and geology.
9) What is your guilt pleasure?
Chocolate. Anything with sugar - sugar makes my skin break out in painful boil-zits. :\
10) Biggest dream or aspiration?
To make a living from my art and be recognized for it.
11) Who is your role model?
I don't really have one. It's something that has come up in therapy; most people I once looked up to fell in some way so I think I learned at a young age not to chart myself by anyone else. I don't think it's a necessarily healthy thing, though, because it's part of my failure/perfection issue. I do value parts of people: my therapist's intelligence and discipline, my friend T's ease with creativity and lack of worry of imperfection, my dad's confidence, and my cat's ability to get his legs behind his head. ;)
My 11 questions for my tagged peeps:
1) What is your favorite season and why?
2) What were your favorite things to do as a kid?
3) What do you like about your favorite animal?
4) What is your dream job that you hope to have (or maybe already have!) one day?
5) Least favorite item of clothing that you actually wear?
6) What are some things you like about yourself?
7) How did you come to find yourself on Tumblr?
8) What does Tumblr mean to you that other web places don't?
9) What human acts make you feel humanity can be positive after all?
10) Can you see the stars where you live? What's your favorite constellation?
11) What is one thing you hope to of accomplished this year?
