Favorite homestuck headcannon?

Sollux headcanons because he’s my favorite and I have a lot for him!!

* He’s very ticklish on his neck and he refuses to tell anybody about it because he’s really embarrassed

* He’s a heavy sleeper and has a hard time getting up sometimes because he’ll sleep trough alarms

* When introducing himself, he tries not to say his name for as long as possible cause he doesn’t like when people repeat his name back with the lisp to confirm

* When Sollux and Mituna were younger, he tried to convince Mituna not to be self conscious of his eyes so he cut his bangs short so that Mituna could always see them and even though it didn’t work, he still keeps them short because it feels weird having longer bangs cause he’s had them short for so long

* When Sollux was younger, the Psiioniic tried to convince him to wear the suit like him and Mituna do and he refused and still refuses to wear it (a little bit out of spite a little bit out of personal preference)

* He hates wasps with a passion, despite loving bees

* He likes Pokémon

* He styles his hair with his psionics

* He had no idea what 3D movies were until he met the humans and found out that the glasses were so similar to his

* He loves teasing people

* Sometimes he asks Nepeta to draw stuff of his favorite game characters

* When Sol was still a grub, he had a small bee plush that he would take everywhere with him and would tweak out if someone tried to take it away or said he couldn’t take it with him

* He enjoys the bee movie (self explanatory)

* He only likes Pepsi for the color scheme of the can, but doesn’t actually enjoy the taste of the drink, even though he pretends to

* All of the captors love being scratched between and around their horns

* He really enjoys Honey Nut Cheerios

* He likes weezer! this is one that I’ve never seen anybody say because most people headcanon him to listen to a different genre with stuff like Lemon Demon and Will Wood, but personally, I feel like he would really like Weezer because of how self deprecating he is I feel like he would really enjoy and relate to the sum of their songs and he would probably listen to some other similar artists like artists like McCafferty, Modern Baseball or The Front Bottoms!

* I kind of headcanon in this for all of the trolls but their horns are really sensitive

Sollux and Pokemon

Just a long long list of headcanons I thought of while ranting to my roommate

Of course, he'd catch and keep every red and blue Pokemon or pokemon with his favorite colors in them but hed keep them in a separate PC box and they wouldn't be on his main team

A quick list of mons i think he'd like and keep:

porygon and it's evolutions

dodou (not dodrio)

togepi and it's evos

OBVIOUSLY plusle and minun (but hes touchy when you call him out on it)

Same story with Latias and Latios

HED BE SO INTO THE METAGROSS LINE ID PUT MONEY THAT METAGROSS IS IN HIS TOP 5 POKEMON ILL FIGHT, its a red and blue line, that evolves by two beldum making a matang and two metang making a metagross, its extremely intelligent, physic and basically a robot hed go NUTS over metagross

Beedrill, not combee or vespiquen, theyre not cool enough

He has sawk and throh but "its not the reason you think its because they work really well off each other and theyre good fighting types itS NOT CAUSE THEYRE RED AND BLUE I SWEAR"

The Gothitelle line bc it reminds him of aradia

Smaller headcanons

He'd love porygon and he'd think the episode that made tons of kids that got seizures was hilarious and was also one of the kids who got a seizure

If he likes a mid or first evolution but not what it evolves into later, he gets an entirely new pokemon to evolve and then release bc he gets to attatched to the first one he caught

He'd have multiple teams for separate things (a competition team, team for each gym, a team for the elite four, etc.) and theyd all be coordinated, each team alternating between red pokemon and blue pokemon to have them stripe down in his PC

Despite curating an entire 6 pokemon team, he'd only need one pokemon to take out a whole gym, and one pokemon per elite 4 trainer. But he still has the whole team

He's a huge completionist and cant put it down until he's done

Despite needing to finish the pokedex, he doesn't keep all the Pokemon. If he doesnt like it, he catches it, evolves it if it can, and releases it

If he gets a shiney or a hard to catch legendary that he doesnt like, he catches it for the screenshot and sells it

Hed be mad about it, but he actually likes nosepass

He spends days and days grinding so he can one shot all the gyms

Honestly, he probably coined half of the Pokemon gaming challenges just because he was bored and spent good money on these games, hes getting his money worth.

Favorite eeveelution would be espeon, no competition

Pokemon is the only thing he swears off hacking into. Everything has to be legitimately earned or it doesnt feel right.

He makes friends with people to trade and then ghosts them as soon as he gets what he wants.

He might be close with tavros just because they like this one thing, bt he might also not like him because tavos plays entirely for fun, has only one team and drops the game halfway through and it drives him crazy

Definitely bullies karkat into battling with him and then beats him mercilessly, only for karkat to steal his DS and release his metagross while he’s not looking so he has to CATCH, TRAIN AND EVOLVE A WHOLE NEW ONE

♊ He always gets so excited when you show him the tickets you bought the two of you, you'll have to calm him down!!

♊ He's a fan of Dear Evan Hansen.

Eridan:

♒ Tries to pretend he doesn't like them.

♒ But when you sneak a look out of the corner of your eye, you can see him mouthing the lyrics with the actors.

♒ Listens to music from his favorite musicals when he's sure no one is around.

♒ He likes Beauty and The Beast.

Cronus:

♒ He isn't a fan. Or so you think.

♒ He's much better at hiding it than Eridan, but give it time and he'll slip up.

♒ You probably find out when you walk into his hive unannounced and he's belting Never Enough from The Greatest Showman.

♒ Speaking of The Greatest Showman, that's his favorite musical.

ERIDAN AND SOLLUX COMFORT THEIR CRYING S/O

Sollux: ♊He's unsure of what to do at first. ♊But shoosh-paps work for him, usually. ♊He'll walk up to you and pap your face, making quiet shushes and purrs. ♊ If that doesn't work, he'll move on to what's the next best thing, in his humble opinion: physical affection. ♊ He'll wrap an arm around you, sitting next to you and waiting it out. ♊ When you stop crying, he'll ask you (albeit a tad awkwardly) if you want to talk about it. ♊ If you say yes, he'll be there to listen to you and support you, no matter the situation. ♊ If you say no, that's fine too. He'll take you to do something to take your mind off the situation for a bit.

Eridan: ♒He'll go up to you, and just be blunt about it. ♒ "Wwhat's wwrong?" ♒ Seeing as you're crying, he shouldn't have expected much of an answer. ♒ He'll sit down and throw an arm around your shoulders, and he'll wrap part of his cape around you as well. ♒ He'll draw little circles on your arm or your shoulder, giving you time. ♒ He'll ask you if you're going to talk about it. ♒ If yes, he'll sit there, quietly plotting revenge on the land dweller that caused you to cry, if that's the case. ♒ If you'd prefer not to talk about it, he'll stand you up and take you somewhere to do something to distract you from the situation.

can i get headcanons for eridan, sollux, and karkat with an s/o who likes going to arcades and, well, just video games in general?

KARKAT, SOLLUX, AND ERIDAN WITH A GAMER S/O

Eridan: He has no particular interest in games. He does find arcades interesting though, the flashy lights and loud noises are fascinating to him. You can convince him to play a game or two, but once he finds a game he's bad at, you can't convince him to play another for at least a week. And he's pretty bad at video games, so this happens pretty often.

Sollux: He's the best at video games! He's probably beaten all the high scores of all the games in the arcade you two frequent. He gets really competitive and focused, and if it's at an arcade he'll try to get enough tickets to get you something huge. He ends up getting you that bumble bee plush almost immediately.

Karkat: He's the worst at video games. He just doesn't have the patience for them! He's yelled at pretty much all the video games at the arcade. The manager almost kicked the two of you out because he was being so loud!
