@solmenlyswore liked ( for percy )
molly don’t be foolish. it’s only going to result in the same thing as last time. you’ll try to bring him home and he’ll slam the door in your face. you’re setting yourself up for more heartbreak.
at least that’s what her mind tells her, as she clutches her purse tight to her chest and stands outside his door. debating between knocking or just turning and leaving. but percy is her baby, she loves him so much and every day without his presence at the burrow is painful. not to mention the hurtful words they all speak about him. whether his loyalty to the ministry was sickening or not, he was still her child and she was still his mother. she was fiercely protective of him, and arthur knew better than to utter a word about his own son in her presence, lest he want to sleep on the couch.
finally she does it, knocks softly on the door and anxiously awaits his answer. she can’t legally drag him home, but she hopes that he’ll see reason and come home. or at the very least allow her to see him, and truly talk to him like she wants.
