I live across the river (on the Coleville Rd. next to the Minella) and apparently both bridges are flooded out. And, as you know, the rain hasn't stopped all day, so I guess they'll be kayaking in my cornflakes.

Although I appreciate the sympathy, I wasn't looking for any. I was suggesting a course of action which might help one of your followers. Asking someone how their stupid shouting is helpful forces that person to consider (if only to deny it) their own behaviour. I can confirm it worked on at least one occasion.

I liked Interstellar a lot. As your correspondent says, it was inspired by 2001: A Space Odyssey, sometimes painfully obviously. But it had its own merits.

Not enough to make it an interesting movie.
