≪✿≫ FIONN SIGHS A little as his young wife makes her way over to the stranger, a soft smile on her lips as she raises a hand to greet him – he couldn’t blame her. Even Fionn didn’t need his WISDOM GRANTING Noble Phantasm to tell something was slightly… off about the poor boy. However, out of respect for the fact that, as a KNIGHT, he knew he didn’t like to be pestered when something was wrong… he was just going to leave the matter alone. However, his ever well-intended wife was going to approach all the same.
“Excuse me?” She starts, keeping her voice soft. “Is everything okay, sir?”
The golden-haired knight begins making his way over now as well, remaining quiet for the time being. If he had to guess, it had something to do with the PRESENTS that had arrived on the already mysterious island. Opening his had granted him the gift of his WIFE’s PRESENCE once again. However, he’d been here for just long enough to know that things going on around here often had a bit of a double-edged sword. Something he wasn’t altogether willing to admit to himself… (At least: Not in terms of considering it towards his own particular gift.) But? Something he was aware of enough that he would recognize that others might not have been as lucky as he’d been.
“… you’ll have to excuse Sadhbh. She’s a kind spirit.” Fionn starts, sighing a little – this time louder and with more emphasis, to allow his wife to see just how exasperated he was in this particular matter. “You certainly don’t have to talk to two strangers about something bothering you. She’s just… well, she’s always been hyperaware of emotions.”
“Shush, you.” Sadhbh scolds, knitting her eyebrows ever-so-slightly together as she puffs out her cheeks at him. An expression that clearly reads: was I talking to you? Fionn’s response is only to close his eyes and shrug – lifting his hands in something of a mock-surrender. “… are you alright, at least? I’m sorry, I don’t mean to be a pest. I simply… couldn’t just walk by. You seemed troubled.”
