yo im bout to start crying. ive never been thanked for rping a muse before??? i didnt realize anyone even cared much for me rping licht alongside hazy rping hyde @yuiitsu-muni . for a while i also rped kuro @oneneetblackcat but with work being so hectic, ive since dropped everyone but jon kent. im surprised someone else knows the series, and im so glad someone else knows it??

sadly i dont know if ill be bringing licht back to isola. after the hassle of people not reading his app and arguing with me about how their muse would tear his dreams of being an angel from him, and arguing with me the mun about licht’s species, i just cant bring myself to comfortably rp him in here anymore. which is a shame, because i love rping him so much. hes so weird and funny.

i hope to one day bring him back, maybe not to isola, and definitely not as indie, but in some other group. rn hazy and i are taking a break, because its no fun to rp licht or hyde without them together, but i just want to tell you how deeply touched i was to receive this.

((ok, off hiatus, and Hyde (( @yuiitsu-muni )) is back in Isola. Its time to make an rp ad that I had talked to Hazy about. This is a THREE PERSON thread starter call. These threads will feature both Licht and Hyde together in the thread, with anyone who likes this post caught between them and their shenanigans. I’ll cap it at 3 for now. this will be either event related or not, depending on what we decide.

At this point, he could probably recite his works without having read any of them. “There was so much wrong with it. For starters, Romeo wasn’t in love with Juliet. He was in love with the idea of love. His introduction involves him whining over a nun.”

“That sounds like a lot to handle if you’re not a fan of his work. And you’ve asked them to stop, or at least minimize that habit? There’s nothing wrong with being passionate, but pushing it so strongly onto someone else who doesn’t feel the same is pretty extreme”.

The idea had him incredibly grateful that his friends all shared the same hobby back home, and wary of making much of the same in the city. “Being in love with the idea of love is a popular idea among romantics, I think it could make for an interesting character trait. But if it clouds his feelings, then proclaiming his love for Juliet is disingenuous, and paying the price they both did for that misunderstanding is even crueler than if it had been true”.

“I haven’t, mostly because it’s just who he is. He quotes things.” It annoyed him, but Hyde was working on getting better, so Licht wouldn’t complain too much about the quotes. “Their whole relationship was rushed. She was younger than him to start, and at least tried to be the reasonable one, but because of it being “forbidden” I guess she threw her brain out of the window for some guy. People misquote it or don’t understand what it means. Like the “Romeo Romeo wherefore art thou?” quote. It doesn’t mean “where are you?”. Not the shitty rat though, I’m sure he has the entire thing memorized. How else could he spout random lines when the mood strikes him? Personally, I preferred Romeo’s friends to Romeo. They were at least tolerable.”

Instead of answering, Licht stuck his tongue out. Sure it wasn’t the most mature thing to do, but he felt like making a show of it. He blamed Hyde’s love of theatrics and his perverted personality for it. Normally, if Licht was pouty, he’d show it in some other manner.

Although he had banned Hyde from dying, that won’t stop him from killing him. Exceptions can be made.

“Keep laughing and I’ll cut out your tongue!” Although he’s sure he couldn’t hurt his own face, he has to get Hyde to stop laughing somehow. He took a step back, then lunged foot first at his own body, aiming to kick him. “Die you piece of shit rat!”

Oh god. This is just getting worse. Licht is pouting with his tongue out. Hyde is wheezing now from laughing so hard. He is fairly certain there will be tears soon too. He doesn’t care, as he usually doesn’t, when his reactions get out of hand like this.

Now it’s his turn to stick his tongue out, in a childishly taunting display. That’s easier said than done, what with how he is still fighting giggles. Unfortunately, that also means the kick lands squarely and solidly. It’s not as bad as when Licht usually kicks him, and this body is as sturdy as they come in this size, maybe more so.

But he does grunt and take a step back, moving with the momentum. “Don’t you know? You can’t hurt me. Because… Now *I’m* an angel!” He absolutely one hundred percent does the pose too. He has certainly seen it enough that he can mimic it perfectly.

“Stop laughing at me!” He orders, stomping his foot again. He is not enjoying this, and all he wants is to kill his vampire for this whole annoying situation. It would certainly improve his mood.

If Hyde thought that Licht would pick up his Servamp’s role of gushing about what an amazing angel he was, he had another idea coming. “Just because you’re in my body doesn’t mean you’re an angel! I’m the angel!” He summons the sword again, and lunges for him, trying to land a threatening cut on his own body. How had things come to this? Licht attacking his own angelic self? “DIE UNTIL YOU’RE DEAD!”

“I refuse to calm down!” Normally, this is where Licht’s manager would step in and reign him in. But he’s been manager-less for over a year now, so his rage went unchecked. In his vampire’s body, it was more theatrical too, with stomping feet and a louder voice. 

“I don’t care! I’m an angel, and you’re a demon! Therefore I’ll kill you!” He started to sprint towards her, but he still wasn’t used to running in this body, so he tripped and fell face first. “God dammit!”

The sword disappeared, though to what dimension it was stored in when not in use, Licht had no idea. “I don’t need a weapon to kill you anyway! Because I’m-”

He struck his pose. “An angel!”

“…Wow, I’ll take back what I was thinking before. You’re MORE pathetic than most of those demon chumps who tried taking me on.”

Simply staring down at the man who had made contact face-first with the snow beneath both their feet (well, beneath HER feet—beneath his… everything, right now), Priere would uncross her arms and just let them hang at her sides.

“Also, you know, I just kept on thinking I was mishearing you before, because, buddy, I can say with certainty you are NOT an angel.”

“Of course you can’t see my angelicness right now! I’m stuck as a demon! And this island stole most of my angelic abilities from me.” In some ways, he couldn’t quite fault her for not recognizing him as an angel. He certainly didn’t look like one, with the bat-wing like scarf that hung behind him, and the unusual clothes, as well as his pointy teeth. If she could see him in his real body, she would immediately regret what she just said.

“I’M LICHT, YOU STUPID DEMON!!” He stomps his foot, once again hating that they’re stuck like this for who knows how long. If he has to suffer through his birthday in a demon’s body, he’ll riot in the streets. “HYDE, THE PERSON WHOSE BODY I’M STUCK IN, IS HYDE!! IS THAT SIMPLE ENOUGH FOR YOU, DUMBASS?”

Although he still hasn’t been formally taught how to sword fight, he works well on instinct. Summoning his vampire’s sword, he readies himself for a fight. “If I had my angel weapons on me, you’d be toast! Settle for the shit rat’s sword! It’ll still kill even a demon like you!”

“Woah, woah, woah! Geez, just calm down. It’s not my fault this whole body swap thing is confusing… Not to mention I’ve never even met you before!” 

Normally, Priere might get pissed off from being called a dumbass like that, but this guy was having such a freak out that she couldn’t really take it as a serious insult. So, he’ll just have to settle for mildly aggravated Priere.

Which given her overall personality, was a fairly regular mood for her.

Eyeing the other—Licht, Hyde, whoever he was—in their sword stance, she wouldn’t really make any indication of someone who felt threatened, simply crossing her arms over (or rather, under) her chest.

“Look, can you just take it easy? I don’t really feel like fighting somebody right now, so…”
