The good news of the day is that setup on the new Soloshot3 went very smoothly. The updates installed without a hitch, unlike on the other one from eBay. I am trying not to get my hopes up too high, but I am crossing my fingers that this time around everything will work as it should.

So, the update on the Soloshot from eBay is that unfortunately I am going to be sending it back. I feel terrible about it, but I have walked through all of the troubleshooting steps from the company and can’t get it to track me. I can’t get tech support from Soloshot because they don’t “support” buyers who didn’t buy from an authorized dealer, which is a really shitty business model. People are going to buy and sell your product second hand, get over it.
The good news is that I got a brand new Soloshot 65 headed to me. I got one on sale for the same price as the 25. Pretty excited as it has even better zoom, better quality video, and does 4k. I have also seen it record pretty well inside which was questionable with the 25. HOPEFULLY this one works properly, and if I have issues I can go directly to Soloshot for help.
