            ❛   ---  ew  .  ❜     around her foot is a small kitten  ,   and there’s a look of  DISGUST  as she peers at it  .   no  ,   she doesn’t have a heart to  kick it  off  ,   but there is a sneer across the  high king’s  face as she scoffs  .    ❛  i’m not alice quinn you little  fleabag  --  ❜    she scowls  ,   shaking her leg in hopes the animal will disappear from being bothered  .     ❛  --  and i  don’t  need a familiar around  .  ❜    she misses fillory  ,   margo decides in the moment  ;   with  everyone  at her beck and call  ,   doing as she orders  .     ❛   SOMEONE  get this damn tiny cat  off  my boots before i  literally  make this messier than it has to be  .  ❜    for yes  ,   she will  absolutely  ...  take it to her room  ,   but no one needs to know that  .

     cold, frigid temperatures certainly made this particular spell a bit more difficult. michael was undeterred, however, always willing to push the limits and boundaries whenever possible. finding a small patch of grass wasn’t difficult, and as he settled himself onto the ground he began to focus. hands began to move, circular in motion -- fluid, more of an extension of himself rather than anything. from the ground a flower began to slowly bloom, rising, petals blossoming. a smile began to form at his success... until the petals began to wilter and fall to the ground. “no !!” his expression morphed into one of frustration, hands pulling away. “no. damn it, why can’t i do this??”

     “  no ,  it  just  doesn’t  make  any  sense.  think  about  this  SCIENTIFICALLY  for  a moment ,  would you?  there’s  absolutely no  scientific  or  rational  reason  for  us  to  be  stuck.  ”  pidge  lets  out  a  heavy  sigh  as  they  scribble  on  the  loose  piece  of  paper  before  them.  “  if  you  calculate  the — ”  it’s  only  then  that  they  realize  this  probably  isn’t  making  any  sense  to  the  other — it  never  does.  “  going  right  over  your  head ,  isn’t  it?  ”

Eliot has been standing and breathing and staring at the sky for who knows how long. If he can’t see his feet, he reasons, can’t see anything connecting him to this earth that he doesn’t remember, then he won’t panic. It’ll be alright. Everything will be alright if he just keeps looking up.

Considering nobody has come at him with a knife in their hand, and that all the wildlife in the city seems to be both alive and peaceful, Parker can definitely say he has been stuck in worse circumstances. But the difference between constant danger and being stuck, is that in one scenario he can do something, and in the other he’s powerless. Perhaps this is why he’s so eager to be useful. When something shiny on the pavement catches his attention, he crouches down to inspect the item, caught off guard when somebody reaches out to grab it at the same time as him. “Sorry,” he replies reflexively. “Was that yours?”

While she was almost glad there was no classes, part of Addison wished there was some kind of school around - if only so that she had a reason to cheer for something. Aside from the obvious, cheer was the one thing she missed about before - which lead to her heading out a little too early in the morning to throw some stunts when nobody was around. Finishing a back flip full twist, she stilled when she heard someone behind her, placing a smile on her face to look as if she hadn’t been apprehensive upon hearing someone approach, she turned to face them. “You want to try? It’s pretty fun once you can land it.”

     “  i’m  sorry ,  but  do  you  know  how  to  get  back  to  THE  DRAKE  from here?  sometimes  i  just  get  so  backwards  when  i’m  thinking,  ”  elena  rambles ,  her  hands  moving  just  as  quickly  as  her  mouth.  if  she  were  being  honest ,  she’d  have  said  that being  LOST  was  probably  her  biggest  fear.  it  brought  back  bad  memories ,  and  she  hated  feeling  alone.  “  please?  ”

     kol  is  smiling ,  his  pen  rushing  across  his  paper  as  he  lets  his  words  flow  from  his  mind  into  a  more  PERMANENT  format.  this  poem  in  particular  is  about  the  way  the  wind  and  the  leaves  dance  together  in  a  lazy  waltz.  it’s  very  over  the  top ,  but  everything  is  over  the  top  for  the  mikaelson.  the  person  beside  him ,  he’s  hardly  even  noticed  them ,  and  it’s  quite  rude  of  him ,  because  he’s  very  much  in  their  way.
