God bless codeine
My parents are coming down to take us for food and I have warned them im off my tits on cocodamol because of wisdom tooth. I just laughed really hard at the word "uggo". If I reblog anything nuts on here for the next couple of days it's my tooth not me!!
Still not able to stand. I keep doing the same thing - lying down for hours and feeling fine, so thinking I'm ok again and getting up to do something. Cue wave of pain and nausea and me falling to my knees gasping.
I slept really well last night, I think it was the codeine. That usually makes me feel a bit funny. (What my brother would call 'aff yer tits') I got up this morning and went downstairs, had a croissant and came back to bed. It took a few minutes for the sickness and pain to come back, by which time I was already halfway up the stairs again. I had to lie down and not move for a few minutes and now I'm alright again.
In other, happier news, my sofa will be delivered on Tuesday. I'm mad because it is already a month late and it was delivered this Monday, and it took them til Wednesday to call. But it's here and soon I can spend some time in my living room and invite people over without being embarrassed.
Our bed is totally humped, loads of slats are missing and the two legs that support the middle beam got lost 2 house moves ago, so have been replaced by two big stack of books. Sometimes I lean on a part and I can feel myself sink through, it's terrible. The 'sofa' downstairs actually folds out to a double bed, so when the real sofa is here I'm going to get rid of this bed and bring that up here instead. We can put our mattress on the frame and - voila! A bed without bits missing.
I took another Solpadol before I opened up my laptop and my arms are feeling progressively heavier..
How am I meant to help labour along if I can't be upright? I can't bounce on my ball or walk or even kneel up and give her a wiggle. Maybe I can just prod my belly until she gets annoyed and has had enough of it. My head is lolling about now.. I'm going to close my eyes.
just took a solpadol, and suddenly everything seems a little brighter
