Why the fuck is it called a wisdom tooth if its so damn stupid

it’s been longer than they say and most of the numbing has worn off but not half my lip/chin. It’s super uncomfortable and I hate it. I know it’s very very unlikely (especially given as they explicitly said there were no major nerves anywhere near my wisdom teeth) but I’m freaking out really bad about this being permanent. I suspect that’s partially because chronic illness stuff has made me paranoid. Ugh. I’m having a hard time.

I've got heartburn still. My top right wisdom tooth is finally coming out of the gums (which is making me feel sore). My left thumb has a lot of sensitive skin. Even my other fingers don't feel great from biting at them. And I'm also incredibly congested.

I've got tons of small problems like this. My dad's probably going to work tonight. I'll likely be fine, but I'm still nervous. I hate my heartburn and all my other issues. sigh...

My Tumblr friends, I'd like to make a quick announcement:

Yesterday I went to the dentist to have my wisdom tooth removed. I won't lie, I'm still sore, but it's already feeling better. The good part is that this was the last one I had to have removed.

Now I need to rest a bit, but as soon as I'm feeling a little better, I'll share some of my best DeviantArt pieces with you! But for now, here's this doodle I did of my OC.

Just the other day, I suddenly got pain because of my wisdom tooth, so I had it pulled out today, and when I asked if I could take the tooth with me, they put it in this small, cute raw rat container for me..
