The weather was so lovely today that i decided to take Gally out to the gardens. I’m glad I finally got some pictures that show off his whole body. I was really pleased with how he posed too, especially considering the uneven surfaces and the slope on that bridge, even if I did get some weird looks from picnicking parents and kids!

Marlowe, because he has hardly any pictures, despite being one of my grails. I never thought I’d own a Lucas, much less a first release oldskin Lucas in such lovely condition. He’s from 2002 (so he’s 14 this year) but he matches my 2012 pureskin body.
I should take some pictures of his paperwork some day...he came with full paperwork, a cute little comic about doll care and what I’m pretty certain is a FCS order form (it’s all in japanese so i can’t actually read it). He also came with a Volks pin, which I was super happy to get since my Irvin didn’t come with one.

Tamir because he’s super adorable. I love this doll so much, he’s actually hanging out with me right now. I’m also still really surprised that wig works for him. I bought it a while back for Oren and it was so not his style (nor anyone else’s) but it works great for Tamir.

Finally Marlowe's box opening. I know I said I was going to do a restoration thing...but there wasn't that much to do. I restrung him, cleaned him and gave him a new faceup. As you can see he came with box and papers and default wig (and a volks pin, which I am way enthused about). Interestingly he's a pre-headplate doll. He doesn't even have a spot for one. His default faceup was all beaten up and chipped and he was dirty. He looks much better now, though it's not the neatest faceup I've ever done. The scars on his face are to cover up a couple of irregularities in his resin and also I just like them.
Character wise Marlowe is head engineer/mechanic for the fighters on board the space cruiser Atropos and Castor, Pollux and Cue's boyfriend. He is also in desperate need of a flannel shirt.

Death goes casual! Perhaps it's casual friday in the realm of the gods? He normally wears his fullset but I couldn't help putting him in this cute shirt from Dorset because it matched the ears on his hat. Also posing skills. Those boots have heels and he's super loose. I'm so glad he has a body now. He's adorable.
