[*SCREAMING* Guys, look at this AWESOME PIECE OF ART that my friend commissioned for me from @solthrys! DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE BLOODY TALON?! DO YOU?! ...If you’re following me, you probably do but seriously, my fucking heart at the details in this. He has a dragon on his trousers! Nailpolish! And an incredibly gorgeously done dragon on his blade and just. God. I flailed incoherently for an hour at my friend over this. It’s just so perfect. Look at that post, look at how his fingertips are just lightly against the ground without really taking his weight, look at the ragged edges of the scarf where it’s frayed, look at that DRAMATIC RED BACKLIGHTING and the way the red’s picked up on the shadows of his skin and on his armored top and oh my god that blood all over him but in realistic amounts. His eyes kill me. I love how he’s not looking directly at the viewer but off to the side instead, and man, they are just such a pretty deeper red. It’s a great use of various shades of red here and Talon with nailpolish is going to end up being a headcanon of mine, I can just feel it. Really, really love that they left most of the face exposed instead of covering it up with the scarf - Talon has such pretty lips, it’d be a shame to hide them. Even prettier with the blood on them. And all over his face. And those cast shadows. The artist even did patterning on the strips of cloth for his cloak! I’m just. God. That’s it. As soon as I get home and have access to Photoshop for resizing/cropping, this is going to end up being my new sidebar. Maybe even my new icon. THIS IS GORGEOUS AND I ADORE IT TO PIECES AND AM GOING TO BE FLAILING FOR THE REST OF THE DAY OVER IT.]
