my favorite hobbies include tormenting @somairle via tupper for fun and sport
aether hums, pleased at the familiar heat of his husband's mouth pressed against his. he leans up into the kiss, giving diluc a few more pecks before pulling back slightly, honey golden eyes half lidded with amusement and contentment. "what was that for?" he asks, tone teasing as his wings stretch out wide behind his back. it's a display that aether does quite often around the other man.
perhaps he's showing off a little bit in an attempt to lure more kisses from his husband, perhaps it's just to stretch them since he'd been sitting for quite awhile now under the shade of a large tree. either way, the display gives the illusion aether is larger than he is, even whilst sitting innocently on the grass. "it couldn't possibly be because you missed me...," the sun archon continues, tapping his chin lightly as he pretends to ponder. not even a minute in, he shrugs and grins, "i give up, i guess you have to tell me."

diluc welcomes the pecks and soft kisses , kneeling down in front of his beloved . he hums , a smile gracing his features as his eyes stray to the beautiful wings . everything in him is tempted to touch , but he refrains for now .
he chuckles softly and he nuzzles aether's nose with his own . " mm , i did miss you , yes , but i also quite like the way you looked right now . i couldn't resist ~ " he murmurs earnestly .
incoming prompt from @somairle ! :: balor winks as he hands out the small cake he'd acquired from the capital. perhaps he'd had a certain feline farmer in mind when he'd bought it, the pretty frosting on top in bright greens and near neon pinks reminded him of the newest member of their small town. he'd continually deny that he'd actually belonged there, but it was no secret that he considered mistria his home. the little plot in which his "traveling" wagon stood was practically his to call his own. still, his ventures back to the capital and home afforded him the ability to pick up things not normally found in mistria since the storm. "here," the merchant says with a small flourish, "i saw this and thought of you." he bows a bit as he presents the treat, a grin forming on his lips as he waits for the farmer to take it. "you're always giving me things you find, i think it's about time that i return the favor." (to kou <3)
mistria was an idyllic place - purrfect for the roaming nekomata to kick back and take a break from his usual antics. he'd heeded the town's call for help in maintaining the farm to the south and honestly? besides a little brush with death in the caves, it'd been a great decision! he got a place to wreak havoc foster new life as a farmer, a nice house for all of his random finds, and an entire town to play in help out!
and the people weren't hard to look at either ~
one such fellow happened to be the town's resident travelling merchant (& wasn't that a bit of a contradiction?) ; balor. he had an all at once friendly yet enigmatic air about him, one that had kou equal parts curious and enamored. perhaps it was the feeling of finding a kindred soul - somebody transient, who went where they pleased and never formally let themself be tied down. despite kou now having a residence of his own, the call of wanderlust was never too far away.
thankfully, the mines satiated his thirst for adventure pretty well. the monsters below gave him a fun outlet, and the treasures he found filled him with satisfaction! he'd just finished with a run through the mines, in fact, when he was approached by balor. a little dirty from his escapades, kou hastily wiped his hands on his shorts.
"oh, wow!" he eagerly accepted the little cake, fuchsia eyes shining as he admired the elegant piping and colorful choices. a smile pulled at his lips, one that reached his eyes - turning them to pleased crescents; & he turned his admiring gaze to the man before him. "aaw, that's so sweet of you, balor~. if you ever feel like returning the favor some more in the future, i won't say no. hey! and you're well traveled - if you ever find some hanami dango, that's my faaavorite." kou cooed, a bit of drool already pooling in his mouth at the thought of the tasty tri color snack.
"i bet i'll like this too though." he quickly tacked on, not wanting to put balor's present effort to shame. while it was a personal sized cake, kou still marched on to say; "y'know, i was about to head to the inn - but i'm a mess! there's nooo way they'd be happy about me dirtying up the furniture. my place isn't too far from here, so i'll just pop in and pop out! a little company wouldn't be a bad thing either...~" kou's smile turned conspiratory. "you could help me eat this. cake's best shared between friends, yeah?" and if he was just making up excuses to hang around balor? well, he was probably gentleman enough not to point that out.
My muse tucks a loose strand of hair behind your muse’s ear, their fingers lingering for a second longer than necessary. {wise to lighter <3} >> @somairle
Physical affection is... well, not foreign. Burnice and Caesar personally see to that for him. But it's certainly unusual, and especially unexpected from very cute proxies that make his chest feel like it's going to explode.
And yet, within moments of meeting up in the Outer Ring, Wise is tucking a piece of hair behind his ear, lingering in close. If he wanted to, he could easily remove the sunglasses too. It's a level of intimacy he wasn't prepared for, even if it is something small. A shudder runs down his spine.
"Hey there, manager." Lighter finally manages. "Fancy seeing you here." He says, as if this is not a planned meet up. Stupid.

Seth walks into Random Play with his tail flicking and ears flattened. He glances nervously at Belle as if she can somehow see through his casual clothes, to the surprise for his boyfriend underneath.
"Hi!" He squeaks the greeting and then scampers past before she can respond, up the stairs and knocking at Wise's door.
"Hey, can I come in?" His voice only shakes a little as he shifts from foot to foot.
❝ oh yeah i did the whole ‘massive crush on my best friend’ thing. wouldn’t recommend it. ❞ {aether to kinich c:<} >> @somairle
"You too?" Kinich offers Aether a small smile, kicking a pebble down the road where they're walking. She enjoys his company more than she'd expected. He's similarly quiet, a touch introspective. Not to mention shockingly humble for someone of his status.
"Hopefully it didn't sour things for you." She glances to the side. "It's... tough. But a true friend shouldn't let something like that spoil your bond." And really, she'd know. Mualani hadn't pulled away or been put off when she confessed her blooming feelings a few years ago. She'd just asked if Kinich would be okay, if she should do anything differently as to not upset her. That was enough, she thought, enough to say you're still important. Things don't have to change, not much.
She pauses, surveying the area. "There's a few yumkasaur nests around her. Careful, the babies are still pretty young, so the parents are extra vicious. Come this way." Without thinking, she takes Aether's hand, tugging him to lead him off the path into the clearing.
"This spot is right between them. If we're lucky, some of the babies wander around near here." She smiles, soft and sweet. Baby yumkasaurs really did have a special place in her heart.

Wriothesley paces by the cafe table as he awaits Lyney. It's strange to be this nervous, but then again, who wouldn't be nervous about leaving the place they've lived almost all of their life?
He'd already narrowed down available houses so as not to drag Lyney to every corner of Fontaine. Now, it was just three left to review, and Lyney was going to lend his opinion. Wriothesley had yet to work up the courage to ask Lyney to look at them as a potential future home. To tell him he already planned on making a copy of the key to hand over (despite the fact that Lyney certainly did not need one to gain entry, but that was beside the point).
Finally, he spots the way the sun glints off of Lyney's blond locks. He's already smiling, anxiety settling as his boyfriend approaches.
"Thanks for joining me, kitten." Wriothesley hums, pulling Lyney into a hug. "You know a whole lot more about houses up here than I do."
