#mine#tf2#tf2 ocs#do i put these in the character tags..? i guess so#if only for my personal organization#tf2 soldier#tf2 engineer#i should have a tag for my headcanon designs though hrm..#maineworld#thatll do#some added notes:#-sarge is ōbeikei which means he is specifically someone of white or native hawaiian descent [in his case both] from the ogasawara islands#which are technically part of japan [although the islands' history is rather complex in this regard]#HOWEVER he was an adolescent when the US navy began their occupation of the island so he got very swept up in the americana#and renounced his japanese nationality when the reversion happened in 1968#-he joined the army as soon as he turned 18 but never really did anything of note until an incident which i have yet to flesh out#caused him to be dishonorably discharged. i imagine it was comically violent per tf2s general spirit and humor#as such he actually knows very little about the military/war in general [hence his wearing a vietnam-era helmet]#but he conducts himself like a seasoned veteran who has been on permanent vacation ever since#sarge treats the gravel war like a victory lap to a race he never won.#-dee is part of the conagher family but not having the conagher Name means she didnt really experience any of the pressure that dell did#however she grew to have a great interest in engineering and the so-called 'family business' by seeing what her uncle [fred] was doing#being a woman however she was often shunted out by the conaghers which led her to be like Fuck you ill do it anyways#fast forward and multiple phds later shes fighting against her estranged cousin#also her having the roboot wasnt an act of hubris like the gunslinger was for dell.#she had a broken ankle that healed improperly and decided to take matters into her own hands#butch engie#FORGOT HER SPECIAL TAG SORRY.
