Sheriff Travis Hackett is missing.

Laura has moved to North Kill to help find him. But on her second day of work at the local animal clinic, a large, black wolf is taken in with grave injuries.

Does this wolf have anything to do with Travis' disappearance? Why is Laura drawn to it? And why does it seem to only trust her?

gonna start some minor confession posts every once in a while

i have a bad habit, one i am constantly checking myself for and i hate myself for thinking this way but

as soon as i don't like someone, i start criticizing their appearance

it's trashy and judgemental and i hate it. i could see someone with the same traits, but who i like/love, and to me they would be beautiful. but then someone who looks similar who i hate comes around and i would rather staple every inch of my skin than get within viewing distance of that person.

i am learning. i am recognizing my behavior and the behavior of others and doing my best to regulate myself (i can only do so much about other people).

the political leaders in my country make it very hard not to connect certain physical traits with negative connotations (have you ever heard of MAGA face?) but no i will be better. i will be better.
