I was going to try to start a dnd campaign based of a world I’ve been building for about 10 years on and off (it’s connected to all my other worlds and creations of course) and my friend has accidentally become Kris dreemur because this is their little soul^^^ ummm yeah this little monster is going to be popping out to cause problems.

It started as a joke because they were going to be a soulless but they need a soul in my world so now through some messed up janky shit they have a soul that is not theirs.

returning to me whining about zed’s order canonically being named ‘order of the shadow’ vs my ‘order of shadows’

his lore says:

“...in an instant, shadows touched his mind...”

“...in the style of the shadows...”

“...doomed Zed to the shadows...” (arguably a metaphor for darkness and imbalance but also possibly not)

“...refuse to embrace the shadows...”

he’s the master of shadows plural

his in-game quotes are more inconsistent:

“...brave the shadows, find the truth...”

“...the shadows have enlightened me...” (remind me to do a little headcanon on this line)

“...embrace the shadow... or die in darkness!...” (embrace the shadow, embrace the order of the shadow, probably)

“...none escape their shadow...” (this would be weird if plural)

“...the shadow is within...” (??? wtf you edgelord)

“...forbidden shadow wins...” (in reference to a singular shadow clone thing)

considering the huge amount of reference to shadows plural, and how several of the shadow singular references are to things that likely have little to do with his technique

why is it the order of the shadow :[
