So it’s kinda a combination of what my three main fandoms were at the time. “Space” was Voltron, “fae” is Throne of Glass/A Court of Thorns and Roses, and “goddess” is Percy Jackson/Greek mythology in general

Did RWBY already, but here’s the other two

When I started shipping them: like immediately with the wink and their team-up in volume one. “Leave her alone” killed me

My thoughts: they’re just so gooooooooood ugh so perfect

What makes me happy about them: the way that the compliment each other and how that changes them for the better (see v5)

What makes me sad about them: this is hard to think of. I guess maybe the fact that they’ve had to fight so hard to get to where they are together, and when they have to confront each other which is necessary but often leads to sadness

Things done in fanfic that annoys me: I uhhhh…haven’t read any blacksun fanfic. If I did though, it would probably be mischaracterization or sappiness cause they aren’t a sappy couple

Things I look for in fanfic: sticking to the characters’ personalities and accurate interactions, cute teasing and small gestures of affection

My wishlist: so many things. Become canon first of all. First kiss, that cute teasing I was talking about, sharing backstories from their childhoods, Blake helping Sun with his problems like he helped her, the rest of team SSSN adopting Blake like a sister

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: with Blake, maybe Weiss because of the faunus/Schnee impact. With Sun, maybe Neptune? Outside canon though, Sun and Ruby would be adorable and chaotic (shoutout to Michael and Lindsay)

My happily ever after for them: save the world, get married, have a rowdy bunch of little faunus babies, and be the best leaders the new White Fang has ever seen

How I feel about this character: I really like her. I love her quirkiness and social awkwardness but also her ability to stand up and take the lead when its needed. She’s grown a lot but still has a long way to go, so I’m interested to see where the story takes her

Any/all the people I ship romantically with this character: my biggest ship would probably be with Oscar

My favorite non-romantic relationship for this character: I’ve gotta go with Yang. I love their sister moments and I wish there was more of that

My unpopular opinion about this character: she’s too optimistic sometimes. She often has the mentality that things will just work out, but that’s not how the world works. Sometimes she should just step back, assess her situation, and think, not just run in headfirst

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I wish her silver eye powers had taken longer to develop. Maybe there should be a scene later on where the power doesn’t work, so she realizes that she can’t rely on it all the time

Favorite friendship for this character: Ruby is friend-shaped. I can’t pick just one because she’s just so befriendable 

My crossover ship: okay this isn’t a ship but somehow I feel like she’d get along well with Leo Valdez from Heroes of Olympus
