So today has been a solid day so far. Currently at work, but kinda bored. Really want to get out and go sketch things or take pictures. I’ll do that tomorrow and record on Saturday with the band.
Just a blog
So I’ve decided I haven’t been keeping up too much with the blogging side of tumblr so that’s what I intend to do here. This page will act as a typical blog would. I won’t be reblogging anything from my feed here unless I see that it is essential to my life or to the followers that read this blog. I hope you guys enjoy what’s to come. I may also go on a hiatus every now and again, but I assure you I’ll have material to post when I do write again. If you want you can follow my main blog which is longmemorabledays.tumblr.com Thanks, and I hope you guys enjoy what I post.
Today I met a kind soul on the subway ride home. Her name was sky and I told her mine and then we small talked for little bit. What really set her aside or rather, what was really astounding to see was that she shared her food with what appeared to be a homeless hungry man. Not many people would've done that but Sky did and I think by witnessing that small act of kindness it made my day better. Another girl standing by the doors gave him napkins and some munchkins in a cup. The kind actions were just unfolding before me. He ended up dropping some of the napkins to which I picked up for him and handed them back. Life gets rough sometimes and for some it's rougher than others. A little while later the homeless mango the off at a stop and Sly sat there and almost spilled her soup. (Sidenote- I had given her my seat upon her look of disappointment that there were no seats but fuck my legs if someone else needs to sit. I'll gladly give it up to them. Especially after a look of "today's been hell"). So she ended up catching her soup to which I replied, nice reflexes. From there we started to small talk and she was really sweet and very kind. Just one of the perks of living in NYC. I hope she has a great life and that she set positive karma into play. She deserves it. Sky if you're out there, we need hella more people like you!!!!
I wish I took polaroids with her.... next time for sure
