Hayden just looks at them, then looks at Vy with a bit of a smile, noticing he has decided to use chillio on his own food after his comment, deciding to try it cold just like Hayden eats his food.
“So?” “I like it better warm, but it's good cold too!” “Then you should eat it warm silly.” “No, I want to eat it cold!”
Hayden smiles at Vy who sticks his lounge out at him. Eating some of his own food. It was pretty amazing how they had gone from relying on Chris to bring them food from all over the world, to making most meals themselves.
“This is really good though.”
He smirks a little at the conversation on the other side of the table, the funniest part is seeing his brother blush as well as River, mostly he is just happy for them both. River laughs shaking his head, still red around his ears, he sits down and tries the lasagna, letting go of a pleased hum.
“This is good! Damn, I am going to get fat eating like this every day!” “The risk of living with a bunch of people who have learned to love how to cook. On the bright side, most of it is fairly healthy”
Hayden smiles and leans his head on Vy's shoulder a bit.
“The head chef has kept us on a pretty decent line with that.” “Sneaking in vegetables in everything!”
Rylan chuckles, sneaking a glance at River.
“Besides, with the shelter at full activity, I think we'll need the energy.” “This weekend is the goal, right? I think ordering wise that should be no problem, then it's just getting it all installed and in place.”
Hayden finishes the last of his lasagna slowly, Vy had learned just about how much he would eat, so he pretty much always got the right amount of food. Vy letting his fingers run through his hair as they sit there.
“Seems like a good deal though, food-wise I mean.”
He smiles looking at Rylan then at Hayden and Vy
“If I stay living here, I get healthy meals, and anything beats what they do at RoM. And yes, the deal is to open soon, this weekend or the next. Thankfully my mother left behind all the material I need to open the clinic. Just get the fences done and clean up the place and get the new materials and licenses and I'm sure we can open it by this weekend or the next.”
“So that means the stinkes will be back?
“I think we can manage, I'll come after school and if Hayden orders the bare minimum to open at first it should work out. And I talked to Madelene, she will come and take pictures for the ad with us whenever we want too. “
“I say it's settled then. Maybe Friday we can do the shoots for the ad, things might be done by then. And I already located some pets in need of shelter, so they'll have some pets already for the add, and the stray familiars too. That way they can add the photos to the ad for the opening.”
Rylan smiles and nods at River, then looks over at Vy.
“Yeah, stinkies, kitties and familiars.”
