Q&A with Zaika ____________________ What inspires you and motivates you? Many of my tracks are based on memories and feelings that I’m focusing on. My highest source of inspiration is my own way to deal with experiences and dreams. That’s where the music comes from. I’m especially motivated when I know that I’ve finally finished all my work that had to be done and can fully dedicate myself to make some music. What's the best part about what you do? The best part about making music is the process of creation. It’s great to feel satisfaction when the idea and message of your track were both realized successfully. What new projects are you working on? At the moment there aren’t any projects I’m working on. I hope to release an EP or LP by the end of this year though. Does a specific state of mind or mood generate your best work? Definitely. My state of mind depends on what kind of message I want to tell to my listener. And also the other way around. So I think that it’s very important that both fit. Only then the music can be described as 'honest'. What can we expect from you in the near future? Like I said, maybe an EP or maybe an LP. But I’m definitely going to publish some new tracks once in a while. Now, I don’t have any big plans. I just want to be as independent as possible from record labels and listeners. That’s the only way to make sure that my productions stay as interesting and honest as they were before.
