There’s something to be said about how Ava had clearly kissed Beatrice’s cheek multiple times while in Switzerland and how she doesn’t do that a single time after they leave. Something about how Ava understands Beatrice’s boundaries -- understands them enough to know when she can push them and when she shouldn’t. Something about the gentleness with which Ava treats Beatrice.
