As per the customs here are some headcannons:
- Spoke is a newborn god with the ability to bend reality. JamatoP is an old god who finds him and watches him how to use his power, but sees an evil in Spoke that scares him, so he disappears before Spoke tries to learn how to make a world splicer
- (both their tethers to the fabric of space loosen and they are unable to use their powers to the full extent, as we see in the Mafia arc)
- Spoke still has quite a strong ability to affect the world around him though, able to bend pathways and phase walls in and out of existence. Hence why he can trap just about anyone so well.
- Ever since the incident with IMajesticRose, Spoke's mental health had been rapidly nose diving. He'll have episode where he vividly hallucinates blood on his hands (her blood. Her blood. ) or pits with dripstone at the bottom opening up before him. Mapicc has learnt how to calm him down and bring him back to reality :)
- BUT he'll also go through longer, less intense (in terms of hallucinations) episodes, where he becomes quite unstable (I don't mean that as a pun I SWEAR).
- In these periods is where we see him acting out. That whole thing with the giant army. Convincing himself he has to kill the witnesses, which blows out of proportion to killing the spies. All because that little voice in his head tells him. "Maybe if there's enough blood on your hands, it won't be hers that haunts you anymore."
- there is a visual gauge to how stable he's feeling. His form will start to jitter, almost, when it starts up. Black, void like particles floating around him. The worse it gets, the worse the jittering becomes, until his whole body appears like statics. You can't quite tell where his arm stops and the particles start.
- cracks also appear too, spilling out rainbow hues. In places where there used to be scratches and scars. Tiny little stars also appear all over him, until eventually his skin seems to mimic space, somehow appearing just like staring into the night sky.
- (although the stars are still there when he's good. You just need to be a lot closer to see them. Mapicc likes to stare at them, he thinks they're pretty.)
- due to being a god, he doesn't necessarily need sleep, but will do so if Mapicc is also asleep nearby. He tried to sleep on his own before. But the nightmares do not let him.
- he's a shapeshifter!!! But only between the forms pictured above and a more "human" looking form
