KH3 Hot Takes
Look I'm all for opinions in criticizing something you love but the stuff of how much a "disappointment" KH3 ended being is up there with Persona 5 how it was treated after launch.
Is it a masterpiece? No. It has flaws. Magic is still op. The overall game is easy even on proud. And the pacing towards the end could have been handled better. Also the union cross info drops annoyed me personally.
Was the conclusion unsatisfying? Imo no. I enjoyed the closure we got for characters who we won't appear in future games. Namely Flower Power, OG Best Girl, and Finest Fantasy 13. I cried during the end game and the ending ffs.
I wasn't looking for a perfect conclusion at all. I went in blind and had a fun time as the game is tied with KH2FM as my second favorite in the series (BBSFM is first and is holding on to that top spot).
Again P5 was praised for being years in development and worth the wait while the hot takes were the same KH3 (and any long-term developed game at this point).
Moral of the story: Don't let your expectations ruin your experience. I didn't like how FF15 was changed from Versus but fun can still be had playing it. Especially for newcomers.
