😅 What's a story or scene you've created that you're a smidge embarrassed exists?

I guess I'm a little embarrassed that my first few fics had emotional-processing epilogues; it feels like such a lesbian cliché.

💖 What made you start writing?

Ah, fun question. I got hugely into Andor, and ended up beta-reading a story by @kiwi-in-space. And I guess that's when I started to seriously think about writing my own fic. And then as I recall I got an idea from @except4bunnies that became the seed of a MonKleya fic, and felt like I really, really wanted to read it. And that meant I had to write it first.

Hello. Just wanted to send you a little note to let you know how much I've been enjoying your 'Such A Cost' fic; I've just finished Ch. 6. I'm particularly enjoying your ideas about Elsa's anxiety and its manifestations sans ice powers--its internal havoc, now that it can't be so pointed expressed outwardly, but for her clothes, I expect, now that they must be traditional again. And your Anna, too! I'm looking forward to see where you take everything. Angst! Intrigue! Love! (I can't wait!)

Oh! How sweet of you - thank you so much for writing to tell me this! All of what you mentioned - angst, intrigue, love - will certainly play a large part in the entire story - particularly the ending ;) I think that, as you said, besides the whole thing of getting used to not having powers, Elsa would find that without them to distract her she begins to worry about others things more strongly instead in their absence- it’s in her nature.So so glad to hear you are enjoying it, and again THANK YOU for writing to tell me, I really appreciate it!! <3

🥺 Is there a certain type of moment or common interaction between your characters that never fails to put you in your feels?

answered here but another thing i love is the semi-common in velkleya fic experience gap- sexually, romantically, emotionally. i like to see how they kind of dance around their past experiences or lack thereof, and try to find a way to meet in the middle that makes them both comfortable. it makes them reach out of their comfort zones, and that's always fun.

💖 What made you start writing?

also already answered here BUT i started writing femslash specifically because i desperately needed these two anime characters with a fucked up dynamic to admit how much they loved each other:

when bleach was good it was really good. i still think about them.

I went by two separate houses this afternoon that had skeletons climbing up the pillars on the porch. One of them also had trash bags done up to look like a pile of bagged-up bodies. I can't wait for Halloween season to be done. =P

See, my problem is, as soon as Halloween’s over, I have to deal with the far-more-terrifying Christmas decorations. I once walked into Home Depot in late October and was confronted by a giant, inflatable Santa Claus. I just about had a heart attack.
