So I was rewatching Ep.8 of TADC and I noticed something when Ragatha first got into the circus. Her demeanor really looked as if she was in the room (irl) with someone else shortly before putting the headset on. She even called out "guys...?" whilst looking around. Like she was expecting someone beyond the headset to respond.
This didn't happen when Pomni first got in because she knew she was alone, exploring the abandoned C&A building. Pomni's reaction was immediately trying to get the headset off instead of calling out for someone else.
So we can just assume that irl Ragatha was checking out the building and prepping it to put on sale since she's a real estate agent. The other person she was with was the building's security or something and they had to be in the same room as her when she put on the headset. Or at the very least in the next room.
This makes the Mind Transfer Theory very legit since there's no way they'll just let this poor woman alone with a sus headset on. And she was also on the job, someone will have to check on her.
I also think that this Mind Transfer function is built because Scratch wants his memories to live on after his death (due to that 'tumor in his brain'). Which...technically works but none of them expected their memories to become a literal sentient being.
