I love writing for Cartman because nothing is ever truly ooc if you understand his intentions. Like sure, it seems weird to make him act nice, but when it will get him what he wants? It's perfect.

When it's a necessary step in manipulating another character then it's never ooc for him. My brother will always do whatever it takes to bring home the gold, and I support him.

since vetalga is a god and therefor immortal does their relationship count as an age difference?

You mean the relationship between him and Amaranth?

I guess in the very technical sense yeah (since he’s thoooouuusands of years old), at least up to a certain point. But he was “born” of a single parent, never experienced any sort of childhood, and physically has been “fully grown” his entire life with his physical/visual age capping at approximately 30 years old, so determining maturity levels for him is kind of weird since he’s never really experienced aging as a concept.

However the course of the story begins with Amaranth somewhere between 23 and 25 years old (haven’t decided) with her later arcs going up to her 30s which would still feature an absolute age gap between her and Vetalga but physically and mentally they would pretty much be the same.

(Also Vetalga is still a bit young-minded by gods’ standards due to being imprisoned for thousands of years which means he missed out on a lot of interaction with the world/development if that makes sense? Which actually makes it easier for him to relate to mortals even if he generally doesn’t like them lol.)
