Idk if you've seen the casting but two of the new characters look like they could be CS daughter!!!! There would have to be some time stuff so they'd be aged up a bit but it's Once lol they do that all the time. I'm keeping all of my fingers crossed.

i went and checked it out, did you mean rose reynolds and/or adelaide kane?

interestingly both or either could pass as CS kids (adelaide on the left for killian and definitely rose on the right for emma) (rose looks a lot like jen in that pic) but not really as siblings. 

then again, they did cast rebecca and lana as sisters so like honestly there’s a low bar here. 

if there’s a CS kid (or two!!!!) i’ll be a lot more invested. like i’ve said—i’m trying to keep an open mind until there’s all the information.

Thank you for your CS post. It reminded me how we weren't sure we'd be endgame for a long time!! How their first kiss had 300,000 views. The excitement from those days are some of my favorite memories. I've been with Once/CS since the beginning and I remember shipping it in 2x04 and thinking "will they do it?" and look where we are now. Thanks for reminding me of those great times, beautiful post.

at first I didn’t plan on doing this s2 throwback, I just wanted to bring up some of the most important milestones but then I found myself going through my 2012/13 posts and crying because suddenly all the memories came back

and I felt that pure excitement from the beginning you know? that’s why I decided to share this

haha I remember how uncertain I was about CS. even after their kiss in neverland I was still like “but omg what if she’ll be with neal in the end?”

but then 3x07 happened with “when I win your heart, Emma... and I will win it... it won’t be because of any trickery... it’ll be because you want me” and suddenly I was sure they’re gonna be endgame

What if the real reason John goes after the treasure in 20 years (or for the sake of AU's let's make it like 5 years) is because he realizes Flint was right and he wants to give him the chest to prove it to him. What if he needs him back. Madi understands. He loses the treasure, but it doesn't end there. He goes and frees Flint and Thomas and begs for Flint's forgiveness. And he finds out that Flint told Thomas all about him.

And that Flint and Thomas weren't back together because Flint had explained how he'd fallen in love with this impossible man John. And then blah blah happy ending pirate husbands!!!!! Basically this ending leaves it open for them to find each other again sooooo bless. (Gonna ignore the fact that Flint is dead in Treasure Island because Black Sails is a diff canon imo!!)

Yes, I too am really pleased with the fact that the ending leaves us to imagine any kind of future we want for them.  And as long as Silver is really really sorry and begs and pleads on his knees (we all know he’s so pretty when he begs and pleads), I’m 100% on board with everything you just said.  You get a cookie!

Yes both of them!! I love Adelaide so it'd be great if it was her but honestly I just want a CS kid. So I'm holding out hope for one or both of them. Cause that casting is a liiiiittle too on point lol.

if there was a CS kid that would be such a gamechanger for bummed i am currently feeling about the lack of jen/emma, so fingers crossed!

I may be heartbroken about Jen/Emma but I'm trying to remain positive. We've gotten everything you could ask for from an OTP. Our favorite character Emma got her own song that encompasses her journey up till now!! The literal theme song of the show! Our OTP have a song together at their WEDDING. We are way too lucky. We'll always have these episodes and those songs and the lessons we learned from these characters. Most characters/shows/couples don't get this treatment.

Up until six years ago, shows were never about hope. And then OUAT came along and said screw the narrative. We're gonna be about hope and getting your happy ending and it's okay to have realistic couples without break up drama. Emma was everything we could've asked for in a female character. She's our hero. This show has always been there for me in hard times, and it's messages will live with me forever. THIS IS SO CHEESY BUT IT'S TRUE

We literally got to hear Emma sing about how she's not alone anymore. Hearing Hook sing "with you I have everything" and Emma talking about "leave the past and all it's scars, a happy beginning" LIKE!! WE ARE SO LUCKY!!

And I wanted to say thanks for running this blog for so long!! I don't agree with every opinion you've ever had about the show but I have loved reading your theories and discussing Once with you for a long time. I'm so happy this fandom exists and that it can continue on so we can all keep talking about this show and it's characters. We'll always have fic and art (and your amazing music videos!). Thanks for being so awesome from one Ugly Duckling/CS shipper to another :)

Idk if you've ever seen the Disney's Descendants movie, but it's this fun little movie about the kids of disney villains who were sent to live on an island with their parents and they get a free pass to go to school with the heroes. It's amazing actually and has great songs and a lot of cool themes. But in the books/second movie (which is coming out july 21st!) Hook has 3 kids so I'm just gonna pretend the whole way through that Emma is the mom.

I actually really recommend it because it has cool characters but also a really large world. And lots of themes of living up to expectations, who you want to be, not having to change everything about yourself to be better, dealing with neglect actually!!! The kids want to prove themselves to their villain parents, and they plan to break them out. But realize that maybe that's not who they want to be. The second one is gonna be amazing so I'd give it a chance if you get the time.

And if you end up liking it there is a book series based off the movies, and those are great as well. It's cheesy Disney Channel but it's also just plain fun.---------------

i haven’t seen that! tbh i haven’t watched disney channel in a real long time (i was lizzie mcguire era) so that’s just not on my radar generally. i’ve heard of this though, because of it’s similarities to ouat. 

honestly, i don’t know if disney channel is really my thing but i do really enjoy themes of expectations and bucking social pressure and idk, i like riverdale, which is a teen soap show with similar motifs, so who knows. thanks for the recommendation!

I'm scared for Once without Emma who is like my favorite female character of all time. BUT I know that they're not going to destroy six years of stories and that CS in whatever capacity it is, will be fine. We can have an end to Mulan and Will's stories!! More Colin and Hook backstory!! Hook and (possibly) adult Henry! I have no doubt that whenever the series finale is, Jen will be there. We'll get our CS in the series finale. I'm nervous as hell but excited for more of my favorite show.

i’m a bit jealous of your optimism! i mean here’s hoping for the best, but i’m gonna sit on the news and see what plans are set up in the finale before i decide if i’m going to continue watching or not.

After our babies get married I need someone somehow someway to mention to Killian that he's a Prince now. Like if they ever go back to the EF (which is actually what I think is gonna happen at the end of s6, I think that's the so called reboot we're getting for s7, all of our characters in the EF) Emma will be Queen one day and Hook will be King. Hook will be a King. He'll be such a good King I'm cry?

i don’t want them to go back to the EF buuuut king killian has a nice ring to it!!!!!! sob
