Eternity with her? Oh! I'd make that bargain. But I'm just a bug, while she is a garden.
Paradox
His bones are branches grasping their leaves in Autumn. The melancholy marrow waiting for a dose of hemlock. He is aged leather creased by unforgiving knowledge. The midnight cat in search of a cure. Forgetful of the count, bested by curiosity. He is thunder demanding attention. Softened over the years, he goes unheard. The remnants of a ripple in a wave, an unheard boom too slow for sonic. He is sandpaper offering solitude; trying to repair the tears he’s made. He is asphalt providing cushion. Capturing memories, leaving some to shatter. He is commonly unorthodox. He is an unencumbered spirit floating down The River blocked by the dam of Styx.
I'm sorry that I didn't realize soon enough That the words being spoken weren't your own The product of the previous choices you had made Came rushing at me, a bitter take of relief and regret A river of emotion, the dam broken by necessary decisions A flow of emotions, that we're intended to bring forth good fortune Is exactly what is drowning me.
