Skip Beat!, ch 293

Ice blue eyes watched the stars which twinkled with it’s own unique fire and light. Its...Strange. This place; it’s so very odd. In fact; the boy was very puzzled by the peculiar creatures that raced by him (purple rats with red eyes?), not giving Russell the time of day. The blond didn’t attempt to follow them, seeing no reason to. He would simply enjoy the outdoors of this area for the moment, something he hasn’t been able to do for a long time since the trial and the experiment the boy had been forced to take. It was difficult to come to terms with this reality. Could it be another dream area? No, his happy dream had already ended. It would be rude to think of them now.
Russell noticed the wind blew with how the lush grass gently swayed; yet the quiet boy couldn’t feel the breeze. He wasn’t surprised.
“...Isn’t there other things you can do besides sit around and do nothing?” The Informant would’ve commented that, yet the chatty dream-walker seemed to be absent. ...Did he fade out of existence? Russell would call it unfortunate, but the other wasn’t real either way. It was to be expected. Even if, the two spent a very long time locked up in that sky blue shop full of books and orange juice.
...Russell didn’t care. Not at all. The Informant was bound to leave him ages ago. It only took a little longer than expected.
When the blond had caught a sound of someone approaching from nearby; dull eyes finally turned to catch a glimpse of whatever it may be.
