author note: hi anon!! so you did not specify the group so i’m assuming mcnd cause i main in that uwu if it isn’t mcnd just tell me the group and i’ll write for them <333 why did i sound like an overwatch player (hEy wHo’s yOur MaIn?¿) also i totally didn’t search up experiences for kissing with braces for 3 days l o l
mcnd reaction: kissing their s/o with braces (ft. complications)
you’ve had braces for quite a while, even before you met him. once you got into a relationship, you didn’t really think that much about it until you guys had your first kiss. more complications surfaced after that but it didn’t stop them from wanting your lips on theirs.
Castle J (Son Seungjun)
the first kiss was magical. it was a simple smooch in the practice room after he finished writing lyrics to a song. just lips, nothing more.
however after a few months of dating, he wanted to try to experience some new things. during a cuddle session (he’d be little spooning bet), he kissed you and mumbled against your lips, “open your mouth,” and so you did. once you did he decided to try to french kiss- until his tongue got stuck in your braces. awkward silence happened before you guys tried to get it out. more awkward silence as you guys look at each other afterwards before you broke the silence and laughed.
cue castle j blushing furiously out of embarrassment and stomping his feet, “ahh how could this happen?!”
BIC (Nam Sungmin)
so it was your daily kdrama session with your boyfriend and you guys decided to start watching “love alarm”. you guys were so engrossed into it and you gasped after sun-oh kissed jojo (pose). “bro that’s so cute!!” you squealed. then bic got the idea of kissing you.
the first episode ended and music was playing in the background. he lightly turned your chin to face him before slowly leaning in and closing his eyes. a slow and gentle kiss was starting but once the lips started to move, bic couldnt leave your lips. literally. he opened one eye and saw a tiny bit of his lip stuck on your braces. you were so into it but stopped once the other party did too and opened your eyes. oops, lip locked! you gasped before the both of you tried to get his lip out. bic decided to speak first.
“well... that was unexpected haha... ah!! (y/n)!! the second episode is already starting!!”
Minjae (Song Minjae)
“hey, jagi,” minjae said, casually strolling into your room and plopping on your bed, “have you ever wondered what it was like to kiss?”
you dropped your highlighter on your workbook and slowly turned to him while slowly raising an eyebrow and saying, “... don’t we already?”
he laughed before wiggling his eyes. “it doesn’t hurt to try some more~ hehe.” you rolled your eyes before picking back up the highlighter to study. “(y/n)~ just one!!” minjae puckered his lips. after continuous begging, you sighed and clashed your lips onto his. out of surprised he widened his eyes before putting his hands on your waist and deepening the kiss. after a few moments his tongue got knicked by your braces and he lightly shoved you off him.
“ah, what to do? i’m injured now so i guess you’ll have to kiss me better, hehe.”
Huijun (No Huijun)
i don’t find huijun really as affectionate as castle j or minjae so i believe that kisses were usually rare but really sentimental you feel?? so he was probably walking you home after you guys had a date (your parents wanted you back before dinner) when you guys stopped at the door. the sun had set and you looked so pretty in golden hour, huijun thought, “(y/n) so pretty” before leaning towards you.
once you caught the drift, you decided to close your eyes and let the magic happen. soft, plump lips had met with your slightly open ones. the sun had gently hit you guys and huijun made a slight noise before slowly taking a step back. you furrowed your brows and saw huijun checking his lips with his finger and saw a slight bit of blood.
“o-oh my gosh!! i’m so sorry huijun i-“ you widened your eyes.
huijun wiped the small blood off before laughing, “it’s okay, but i should take my que to leave now, your parents are probably waiting. i’ll see you, yeah?” he waved you off as you walked into your home. safe to say kisses became even rarer than before after that due to huijun’s ptsd.
Win (Bang Junhyuk)
so i think win would give occasional pecks on the lips (have you seen under19) so kissing was normal after a few months of dating. like “oh (y/n), you came to visit me? mwah” or “(y/n) you look so cute today! mwah”.
you guys were at an arcade and you saw this really cute gudetama plushie so you looked at win with puppy eyes and asked if he could win you it. “only if i get a kiss as a reward,” he smirked. you laughed at that and he puffed his chest and went to the claw machine. after a few tries, he successfully got you the lazy egg and you clapped your hands as praise. he bent down to your level (or looked up at you if you’re taller) and closed his eyes. “i’m waiting,” he says.
with the giddiness of the new plushie you went forward a bit too roughly and clashed lips with him which caused him to take a few steps back but continued to kiss. after a few seconds, you stepped back and you gasped at the cut at win’s lips from your braces.
he felt the warm substance and you pulled out a napkin from your pocket to dab at his lips.
“i’m sorry about that, junhyukie. are you hurt?” you pouted.
win’s ears turned red at the concerned stare you were giving plus the super close contact before facing a different direction and mumbled, “no... your cuteness makes up for it all.”

drabble 51: “i don’t want to be just friends anymore.”
you’ve known junhyuk since you guys were in elementary. your moms were close friends and so they would bring you guys out on little trips they went on. your relationship wasn’t really complicated. you guys were and are best friends, going on strong in your last year of middle school. the only small complication was when you found yourself falling for him.
“yah, bang junhyuk! give me back my homework!”
“not until you let me copy it!” he yelled back at you. your classmates giggled at your guys interactions. you guys were iconic, the bang (l/n) duo. you stood up from your chair and tried to get the paper. you were incredibly close to junhyuk, your body was less than an inch away from leaning on his. he noticed the close proximity and coughed before shoving the paper onto you, making you stumble back a bit.
“what the heck junhyuk?! wait, are you sick?” your anger dissolved as you saw his face flush and placed your hand on his foreheard. “you’re burning up! wait, don’t tell me you’re blushing?” you said smugly.
“as if i’d like a pig like you!” junhyuk yelled defensively. you laughed at how cute he was but a little piece in your heart broke after he said that.
“(y/n) isn’t a pig, they’re a cute pig,” fellow classmate, haruto, butted in. jeongwoo laughed and high-fived haruto.
“what’s with you guys calling me a pig?! you guys eat more than me!!” you yelled.
after a few more class periods, the bell signaled for lunch. you walked out with junhyuk to the student convenience store in comfortable silence.
“you know, i think haruto likes you,” junhyuk said.
“that… you had to break the silence by saying something like that??” you questioned.
“mm, you don’t see any boys complimenting you by calling you cute. plus it was kinda obvious when he stared at you with googly eyes.”
you laughed, “no, haruto would never like me in that way. he probably just wanted to be nice since SOMEONE wasn’t.”
“don’t tell me you like him or something, you guys can’t even hold a full conversation since he just transferred from japan, plus i heard rumors of him being a player.” junhyuk mumbled at looked the other way.
you laughed, “he’s kinda cute though? it would be nice if someone liked me.” you wanted junhyuk to desperately say something, maybe even say “i like you”, but you were met with silence. to brush off this embarrassing moment you spotted the student store selling chocolate milk and said, “junhyuk!! it’s your favorite drink, stay here, i’ll get it for you!!” before running off.
junhyuk sighed as you ran to get the drink. did you really have to say that? why couldn’t you see the person that’s been by your side since 1st grade? was his actions not obvious enough to reach to your thick skull?
a few days had passed and junhyuk had been acting weird. instead of teasing you like usual, he’d treat you more gently. instead of shoving you out of the lunch line, he’d offer you to go in front, and he’d even put some of his food onto your tray when it was your favorite. not to mention he’d stare at you with such a fond look, it made your heart skip a beat. you laughed in disbelief at the thought of him possibly liking you back.
“you know junhyuk, you’ve been acting so differently lately. are you going through puberty or something?” you deadpanned as you guys ate in the schoolyard.
junhyuk grinned before looking up from his phone, “is that a problem?”
“yeah it is, you’ve been acting like some k-drama protagonist. where’d my rude best friend go? are you an alien?” you joked.
his eyes softened and his grin faltered, “that’s the issue, (y/n),” he turned off his phone and turned to you, “i don’t want to be just friends anymore.”
your mouth gaped at the sudden confession you received. it didn’t help that your heart started to beat so loud. could he hear it? “what do you mean?” you replied softly.
he took a deep breath before continuing, “i like you, (l/n) (y/n), ever since we met. i don’t want us to just be best friends anymore. can we be more than that?”
gosh, why did he have to look so handsome when he was pouring out his feelings to you? the feelings you hid in fear of liking your best friend were no longer a problem, and it was now or never. you nodded and smiled, “you know, i really like you too, junhyukie. more than just as a best friend.”
the way his face morphed into one of the most beautiful smiles you’ve ever seen, and his shy laugh of happiness was a sight you’d never forget. your best friend was now your boyfriend.
our relationship isn’t so complicated now.
(3:24 pm) you keep missing the basketball hoop during practice because you have poor aim. minjae from the school’s basketball team notices and walks towards you.
“here,” he takes the ball from your hands, “you should aim with your dominant hand like this and hold the ball on the side with your other,” and proceeds to shoot the ball flawlessly into the hoop.
you nod as he gives you another ball and shoot, only to miss again. you’re embarrassed as he chuckles and pats your shoulder.
“ah, you’re a lost cause,” he says jokingly, “i guess i’ll have to continue to stay by your side until you can make a basket.”
(3:00 pm) the bell had rung, signaling everyone that school had ended. you were on your way to you locker when you heard someone shout your name.
“(y/n)! wait up!”
you turned around to see classmate! win running towards you. you raise a brow signaling him to continue with what he was saying. “don’t take the subway or bus after school.”
dumbfounded, you say, “what??”
“you should take me instead,” win says as he smiles brightly, “wanna date?”
