I got to try out the SonarPen2 from @mysonarpen! Read below for my thoughts and the link to the Kickstarter to check out!
✅Pros:
🔸MUCH more affordable price
🔸The size and shape feels like an ergonomic, professional art stylus
🔸No battery
🔸tilt sensitivity, good responsiveness, and precision,
🔸good pressure sensitivity and programmable button in supported apps
🔸very helpful support from the company
❗️cons:
🔸the button is a bit stiff
🔸I needed help getting the pen set up (but I’ve been told that the retail version will have a clear instruction card/video that it comes with!
🔸pressure sensitivity works only supported apps
Overall, I am very happy with the pen and think it is very exciting that we’ll have a good, more affordable option to use with the iPad that has things like tilt, pressure sensitivity and the programmable button! I also kinda just like leaving the pen plugged in so that I don’t randomly misplace it like I do with my other styluses! Bonus! haha!
