okay so can we talk about episode 53-54
like. chris is 18. he's been through everything. he's got the lab coat, the maturity, the whole "i'm not a kid anymore" energy. and then boom, portal nonsense, science gone wrong, and he's 12 again.
and sonic doesn’t say anything at first. just walks up slow and reaches out, touches the sleeve. And i just know hes trying to picture 18-year-old chris, he would be so curious about it.

If we're still on the subject of Sonic and his entourage of potential male love interests(or who thirst for him), then I'm sharing some headcanons: In the history of his now long dead ass tribe having a romantic relationship with another man was seen as peak morale for warriors, so Knuckles wants to join Sonic in adventures whenever he can even though he still can't fess up to him already. Eggman never felt strongly for anyone else because he felt they were too weak for his almighty power and
intelligence- until Sonic kicked his ass for the very first time, then he knew deep down that he was 'the one' worthy enough. Shadow doesn't know why, but something about Sonic not keeping him from falling down down to Earth after they defeated the Biolizard together makes him want to beat Sonic's ass out, like someone who's partner failing to catch them during the falling backwards trust exercise. Unaware of the very existence of the concept of same sex attraction and having no point of references to turn to, Chris assumed things like that he just really missed his parents to try and make sense of the confusion and frustration from his feelings for Sonic. Pride still infinitely (pun sort of intended) hurt from Shadow calling him weak, Infinite set out to try and "dominate" Sonic, in order to prove to Shadow, himself, and his invisible dead teammates, that he is in fact not weak. Starline eventually started to become jealous of Eggman's undivided dedication to defeating Sonic, to the point of him having the whole attitude of "What does he have that I don't?" So he figures that in order to win over Eggman for absolutely sure, that he must figure out what makes Sonic such an evil genius magnet in any way he possibly can.
I'm always avaliable to discuss the subject of Sonic's ever growing harem ;) (as long as it's not Archie style lmao)
Very fun headcanons! Knuckles' scenario reminds me of a fic I found after Sonic 2 came out, with Knuckles trying to court Sonic according to his echidna customs and Sonic being totally clueless lol. I can totally see Eggman developing an obsession over Sonic because he's the closest thing to an equal he has (not in intelligence of course, pff, but in tenacity and determination, he can respect how similar they are in those regards). Infinite trying to humiliate Sonic to prove himself superior to Shadow is... oddly IC. Starline also makes a shocking amount of sense, and ngl, it puts his creation of Surge in a very different light. Chris' blurs the line between headcanon and canon.

A year or two ago I made a Sonic X OC named Lisa. She was meant to be Helen's spoiled rich cousin who was very arrogant and relied on her parents' money. However, she has a soft spot for Helen, but her pride refuses to admit it.
The only reason why she moved to Station Square was to go to the same school as Chris Thorndyke and Helen. Why would she spend her time going to a peasant public school?
1. She wanted to see Helen more
2. She has a massive crush on Chris
She'd leave love notes in Chris’s locker, bombard him with gifts, flirt with him in front of Danny, Helen, and Frances, and she has spies follow Chris’s every move to the point where Chris didn't even want to go to school or leave the house, even staying behind on missions all because of the fact that he was scared of Lisa.
Sonic offered to confront Lisa, but Chris always refused. Not wanting Sonic to get involved with some "silly drama" as he put it.
Not to mention she'd do anything to eliminate her competition so when she saw Chris hanging out with Danny the most she knew she had to get rid of him. So she tried to pay Danny's parents a bunch of money to move out of Station Square and live somewhere else, but her plans failed because his parents refused, even with the threat of publicly shunning them from Station Square.
She HATED Sonic's guts though, everytime she'd see the news about Sonic, or those newspaper magazines of him carrying Chris like a bride. It pissed her off seeing Chris so happy and blushy around Sonic. So she decided to confront Chris when Sonic wasn't guarding his room.
And by confront I mean dragging a literal kicking and screaming Chris into her limo and driving off with him.
After a dozen of panic attacks later Chris finally musters up the courage to confront Lisa about her behavior towards him and how it made him feel. It got to Lisa, realizing that she was being too pushy and rushing things with him.
So she takes him on a date!
Which is NOT what Chris asked for but hey!
