sonder; a story | refurbished
same story, same characters. just better.
hey uh so what’s up? i recently came off my hiatus, and i am glad to say i feel exceedingly better. it’s not perfect, but my mental health has improved. i feel really motivated to work on things, and finally write again! but this isn’t a post about how im doing, so lemme stop rambling.
i deleted all my previous Sonder posts, except for character edits. i felt i was in a place in my story where i felt trapped and just...stuck. so i redid everything! same plotline, characters, etc; just redid in a way where everything flows. with the return of Sonder, i’ve created a little guide so things don’t seem too overly complicated.
colors indicating the speaker: before, i used white as the first/main speaker. turns out, that confused me sometimes, and i didn’t want it to confuse anyone else. Yellow indicates the main speaker, which is usually the most ‘important’ one. White indicates the second most important speaker. If this still confuses you, i tag the character’s names in the tags. the first name is then yellow. for example, if i were to tag #vida dubois, #maia phan, then vida would be yellow and maia is white. the colors are then followed by red, blue, etc. although, i usually dont include too many characters in one scene.
completion of scenes: speaking of scenes, i will add a dash to indicate the ending of a scene. it will be represented by ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ (the dash)
