If Shadow kept his old design
I still have this in the works, but I wanted to share it now.
I had a lot of issues regarding who was going to be who in this AU, so I ended up making it a Sonadow situation. This panels were chosen because I’m also a sucker for sonerios haha.
Tbhk is the best slow burn ever and I just had to make it Sonadow cuz it’s TOO good

This is how I envision my au to end, because not everything can stay.
A little context: an anomaly is caused by the power of the chaos emeralds, which makes Shadow get locked out of his timeline for a while. After finding a way back, he realizes someone has taken his place.
Terios isn't meant to be in the main timeline, but because the timeline needed a replacement for Shadow, they brought him in. Now, the AU does establish that sonic and shadow are a couple, so you can probably guess how Shadow felt seeing his boyfriend be with a guy he doesn't even know!
With that out of the way, I can say I am working on building this AU, so it makes a bit more of sense in its entirety.
