I was intrigued by this song because I couldn’t figure out if whoever was singing was purposely channeling Nina Simone or if it was just a wonderful coincidence. Then I saw it was Jack Black and it made it all even more strange. For reference, look up Nina Simone’s “Pirate Jenny”.
