Hey guys! Do you have any Song Switch requests? Send me an ask and it'll be featured on the next episode!
I have a new segment on my Youtube channel called “Song Switch!”
How does this work? You guys send me song requests, and I will switch them in for a song in a StarKid musical. For example, if you send something in like “I’m Just A Sidekick”, I would switch that song with The Dynamic Duet in HMB.
It doesn’t have to be another starkid song. It can be from your favorite album, something from Taylor Swift, or a Broadway Musical, or even a nursery song. The crazier it is, the better!
Edit: I will NOT be singing. Sorry for any confusion there. I’ll have a video up on Sunday that explains it better.
What do you guys think? Love it? Hate it? Wanna send a song request? Use the hashtag #SongSwitch so I can see it!
You know what?
Cups ("When i'm gone") Has the same basic structure as a lot of other songs. To name one, "I've Got a Dream" from Tangled. If you have a cup, and an idea of what syllables to stress more than others, then you could do it. Personally, I find the concept of her singing "I've Got a Dream" to the tune of "When i'm Gone" hilarious. But that is just me.
I'm watching "the impossible astronaut" on Netlix
And when they're in the restaurant synching diaries before they see the Doctor die, Adele's "rolling in the deep" is playing in the background. I'm not sure, but was that there before, or was it added for the Netflix version? I swear it wasn't there before. Has anyone else noticed this?
