Someone...
Uhhhh..... heads up Amazon device users, I guess????
Heres how to turn it off btw:
1. Open your devices Alexa app
2. Go to settings
3. Select "Account Settings"
4. Select "Amazon Sidewalk"
5. Turn it off
If you own an Alexa, Echo, or any other Amazon device, you can fix all of the problems with it by smashing it with a hammer and burning the remains
this is a poem
i couldn’t not draw this
This game actually made me cry. A lot. I never cry at video games. It feels like they took my life, jumbled it up and changed a few of the details, turned up the drama to 11, and gave the main character friends I wish I had when I was 12 and made it into a video game. And then stabbed everything with a knife.
I don’t make a habit of relating to video game characters, either, but after enough parallels occur it gets hard not to.
trust nobody not even yourself
You ask me, deportation is more of an admission that they don’t have a good enough case. My parents used to know a guy who got deported on a false accusation even though the supposed offended party kept changing their story.
best thing i learned today: “The Loud American” role in Japanese businesses
nobody asked but imma explain anyway
no idea how it came up, but my programming prof was talking about his friend who works for Nintendo Japan who’s secondary role is The Loud American, and my prof explained what that was and how it came about
see, in Japan you do not talk back to your boss. you just don’t, even if they have stupid ideas and want the company to act on them. Like Nissan did sometime back. But since the other employees couldn’t do anything about this terrible idea that would ruin the company, they called in an American who had no reservations about telling the boss that their stupid idea was a stupid idea
and that’s just become a role in Japanese businesses, where they keep an American on staff who plays up the American stereotype and tells the boss what the Japanese employees can’t or won’t out of societal norms
dream job.
How much do they pay per hour for me to sit around and every so often storm into the bosses office and call his ideas stupid as fuck?
The town fool strikes again.
Controlled bathroom breaks are dumb, if I gotta go I gotta go! (x)
I remember in 1st grade, back at the first group school I attended, the teacher tried justifying controlled bathroom breaks to us alongside why she was getting into heaven and we needed to make a decision on that. Even then, I was questioning whether teachers were in their right mind.
Dr. Whalen and her newest apprentice, Becky.
Plague Rowlet is adorable
Also: If I’m not going to make money from it, why should I help save the world from a global pandemic???
The people who discovered insulin patented it for a dollar each so it would be affordable when it was discovered too.
-“mommy, the kids at school are mean to me!”
-“OH, WHAT, ARE U #TRIGGERED???, LIFE ISNT UR #SAFE SPACE LMAO”
Stay away from children for the rest of your lives please
The people who hate this are probably the ones traumatizing their children
this is a show for 3 - 6 year olds what is WRONG with these monsters???
Fun fact, sesame street was created to fill the gap in education for children whose families could not afford to send them to preschool. Sesame street taught basic math and phonics as well as interpersonal skills so that children below the poverty line weren’t starting elementary school behind their more privileged classmates.
Here sesame street is trying to fill a gap where supportive adults should be. Where there should be a teacher or a family member or a counselor to help, for whatever reason, there isn’t, so Sesame Street is stepping in.
This breed of person has always hated Sesame Street. They hated it for showing black and white children playing together. They hated it for giving children of color the head start that rich white families were paying for. They hated it for Bert and Ernie for showing two MEN who LIVED TOGETHER, for the married black nurse who lived on sesame street when it was first released, and for them explaining death. I feel like there was a pregnancy at some point in its early days and they would have REALLY hated that.
These days they don’t (usually) say “I’m not letting my kid watch anything with black kids in it” but they sure throw a tantrum in the youtube comments when Sesame Street DARES to show an autistic girl playing with non-autistic children and being treated like shes anyone else. They lose their shit when Sesame Street has to explain incarceration to 5 year olds. And the muppet in south africa with HIV? Hoo boy.
They hate everything Sesame Street stands for and tries to provide. They always have. We just have to ignore them and keep supporting the show. Or tell them to shut the fuck up and keep supporting the show. Either way Sesame Street will outlive them.
Sesame Street will outlive them.

Entire Georgia county claims no mail-in ballots.
How does Brian Kemp explain his incompetence? How does he explain suppressing votes from certain counties?
Just in case anyone missed this the last 2 or 3 times I reblogged it.
