Nathan quirked an eyebrow as the door creaked open, Cassandra’s form appearing in his vision. “I thought me having a bath was stupid?” He mused, a teasing smirk forming on his lips. He watched in amusement as the girl made her way into the bathroom, disrobed, joined him. It was a slight shock, and he wasn’t entirely sure what to do with it because this kind of thing was not part of their deal. They were essentially friends with benefits, aside from the ‘friends’ part (or so he tried to tell himself). He was her teacher, of sorts, teaching her how to shed her innocence. Bathing together was not apart of that plan. Yet, he couldn’t find himself to care at this point. He continued staring at the girl with what he hoped was a blank expression as he gathered his thoughts. Then, he quirked a slight smile, hand raising to splash her with water. “Don’t hog all the space,” he mumbled, smiling still, his way of saying he was okay with her being in there with him. That thought alone scared him.

So I really hate to do this but I really feel like I should give you an explanation as to why I’ve been so stupidly inactive and also that I would be getting any better soon probably. 

So I started school this week, and it might be just the start but my teachers aren’t giving any breaks or pauses and have dived straight into making my life hell. Now, this causes me to slowly grow more and more anxious when I see things pile up and like I always do because I still live in a trash can full of trash a.k.a. me, I’m procrastinating like crazy. To add to this, I leave home in the early morning and come back at late afternoon, meaning my time in the computer is limited for now, but that will change next week when I get my bus and train pass and I can stay home a little later instead of having my mom wake me up and drive me to grandparents’ which is closer to school so I can walk. And to add more, there’s all this stuff about college that is driving me insane. I realise now that this is too much information and y’all didn’t want to know this. I’ll stop it now. 

So, in light of this, I’ve thought it best to let you know I’m taking an indefinite hiatus, just until I get my head back on track and figure my life out. I’m sorry to be doing this, but I really need some time off and I hope you guys understand what that means.

Usually if I make an account and I don't receive one in four days, I assume they're not interested. I wait a week for a reply to my starter unless they tell me they're busy. I try to be lenient but I also hate wasting my time, y'know?

Yeah, I just went through and deleted like fie accounts because it’s been five days to two weeks and no one’s followed them or anything. But like if you’ve had an account for over a week and it’s gone no where I’m like??? Because I’m really chill but I feel like I’m wasting my time.

It was stupid, the fight, and Nathan was reeling it back through his mind as he sped through the streets in the early morning. 3am was quite the time to drive — no one was around, no one was around to stop him from doing something idiotic, like speeding, so he kept at it. Being high and driving defintiely wasn’t his smartest move, and it showed in the actions that followed. One minute he was driving, the next thing he knew he was standing outside of his beaten up car, blood trickling down the side of his face as he looked at the scene in horror. He was a monster and he knew it, an idiot for becoming this person, and even though he’d fled from Cassandra house in an angry fit of rage, he found his fingers dialling her number and bringing the phone to his ear. Slightly hyperventilating as she picked up, he took a deep breath and let out a cynical chuckle through his breaths. “Cassandra... I’m so sorry,” he breathed out, head tilting backward towards the sky. “I’m so fucking sorry, but I just--- I crashed my car, and I’m fine - I feel a little dizzy but whatever - I’m just sorry. Please... can you come get me, or get someone to help me. You’re the only person I know to call and just---” he cut himself off, suddenly angry because, no. This was exactly the opposite of what he wanted. He didn’t want to drag her into this, she deserved so much better. “I--- I’m sorry,” he mumbled, shaking his head before hanging up and dropping the phone to the floor, shame flowing through him at the person he’d become.

He wasn’t sure what overcame him when his fingers hovered over the keyboard, Cassandra’s contact pulled up. He was being cynical, self-loathing and downright terrible about the scenario at hand, but the monster doesn’t deserve the princess. He doesn’t deserve Cassandra. She deserves the world handed to her on a silver platter, and he can’t give her anything. So, clicking on her name he chuckled cynically, fingers speeding over the keypad, eyes blurred.
