The Doctor smiled as he saw Melody walk through to the console. “Ah, Melody! I was just about to call, I found this brilliant planet we should go to!” Smiling, he turned to face her fully, then frowned. “Melody?” She gave a smirk as two daleks rolled in behind her. “Hello Dad,” She said as the two daleks went beside her. “Melody what are you doing? How did they get aboard the ship?” Melody laughed. “How do you think they got aboard? Through me!” She pulled out a gun, and pointed it at him. He held his hands up, "Melody, went would you let them on the ship? They want to kill me!" He felt betrayed by her. "Why Melody, why?" He asked, tears starting to form in his eyes. "Because they make sense. Who needs another species when you have daleks? They're brilliant you know that?" She laughed. "It is time to kill the Doctor!" A dalek yelled. The Doctor, with tears now falling down his cheeks, closed his eyes. "Melody? I'm sorry. I wronged your parents, I'm a failure," with that, the dalek shot him, causing him to fall in pain. Our sour him again as he was regenerating. He looked up at his 'daughter'. "Goodbye Pond," he said, taking his last breath.
