What did you get really, really, really excited about?

oh gosh so many things SO MANY THINGS. LIKE. I’m an easily excitable person in the first place? So like. Wonder Woman. Uh, my birthday. Every single Check, Please! update. Actually any time any webcomic I read updated I got so happy. Um. Uh. I baked a lot and I got excited every time because I like doing that. I was excited for NaNoWriMo! I was excited that I won NaNoWriMo!

What do you wish you’d done more of?

Hm... writing, maybe? I’m actually not sure I have a lot of things I wish I had done more of. I don’t have a whole lot of regrets from this year, or at least none that I can recall right now. I think I did okay.

What kept you sane?

Pharmacologically, I started on antidepressants back in May, which is something that I’ve needed to do for years, so that helped with a lot of my brain’s nonsense. Also did a brief stint in therapy before I moved, which was illuminating. And I have some really, truly incredible and amazing friends who love and support me (and vice versa!), which was... a huge help. For a lot of stuff, for a lot of reasons.

#idk like i'm aware that a lot of stuff was really hard this year #this summer especially because my mental health took a nosedive #which i'm just now starting to climb out of #but overall i think 2017 was kind of okay for me #i don't remember anything too horrible off the top of my head #which might have more to do with my shit memory than how good the year actually was lmao #anyways thanks for asking i love talking about myself #songsaboutsleep
