The Used had always been one of Max’s favorite bands, but at the age of eighteen he finally managed to get tickets and a backstage pass for a concert. The closing number at this gig happened to be Pretty Handsome Awkward, and right after the set came to an end Max was able to meet his idol. To this day he still uses the guitar Bert McCracken signed for him in his solo shows.
