An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
Summary:
Lan Xichen does not care if A-Yao would have wanted him to try again. He doesn’t want to. He took vows. He had always intended to grow old with him. What would it say about him if he tried again with someone new? Didn’t his love and affection for Meng Yao mean anything? Didn’t he promise to love him for the rest of his life? Until Death Do Us Part never meant anything to Lan Xichen. He decided two years ago after Meng Yao died in that house fire that he would wait instead for death to reunite them.
“And that’s great!” the group coordinator praises. “We have to remember that just because someone we love isn’t with us anymore, it doesn’t mean our lives are over. Our partners loved us and would want us to be happy. Did they want you to suffer when they were alive? No! So why would they want you to suffer now that they’re gone?”

Hey I finished a thing! (For once!)
It’s short, but it was meant to be just a silly little thing based of a text post I made, so what can you expect?
